I'm not sure where you live, but most larger cities have donation sites for Make a Wish Foundation. You can donate your dress and write-off on your taxes the full amount you paid for the dress. Than someone else has the option to buy it out of the Make a Wish shop and the proceeds go to help funds wishes for terminally ill mothers and their children.
Or you could list it on ebay or craigslist.

EBay would be were you would get the Most money for your dress.
Newspaper is too dangerous because you have to have contact with people, same with Craig's list.
You could also donate the dress and write if off your taxes next year if you don't want to go through the hassle of eBay.

I knew a girl who wore her dress to her wedding and then the next day put it on ebay and sold it for the price that she bought it for! And it was an expensive designer gown. That week she met the other woman who won it on eBay, she tried it on and handed over the money! So EBay! Good luck!

Could try E-bay though a high price may prove doubtful. An alternative would be to go to a store that trades in matrimonial clothing and see if they can sell it for you on consignment. Good luck.

You can sell it at a yard sale. Put it in the ad in the paper with it's size so interested women will know about it, and come to see it. It's much harder if you don't mention it in the ad.
If there is a second-hand store in your town, you might be able to put in on consighnment there.

Put an ad on Craigslist (it's free!) or sell it on Ebay (for a fee).
