A tuxedo could starta as low as $59.99 depending on the designer, but we just recently went to a wedding and after shopping around our best bet was "THE MEN'S WAREHOUSE"

We just went in January to pick out tuxes for our wedding. I had some coupons that I had gotten at a Bridal Show so we got them on sale. Everyone that I have talked to says that every tux that they have rented for a wedding costs over $100. We ended up with ones that cost $95. One of the deals we got was that all the tuxes were $59.95. That means every style coat and pants where on sale. If you don't catch a sale like that then the lowest would be about that much but it can go as high as $100 or more just for the coat and pants. Then when you go to pick the vest and tie and shoes and stuff. That's when it really shoots up. The basic tux is a black bow tie and a black cumber bun, with ugly shoes. You normally spend from $20 to $50 pick a vest to match your color and nicer looking shoes and the tie you like. It's crazy! We got ours at Tuxedo Junction. We lucked out. If you can go to any bridal show between now and when you go to pick out your tuxes, make sure you go up to all the tux booths. They can save you a lot of money. Good Luck!

The tuxes for our wedding are $175, but we have rented tuxes before for just over $100. We have always had really good luck with Al's Formal Wear. Super nice people!

It depends on where you live... in NY it may be the average is $200 but in Omaha, NE $55... you will have to do comparison shopping in your area to find out.

I would say plan on $100....
if it's cheaper then the better but if it's for a wedding plan on 100.
