I am getting married in August of 2007. I am almost 5'2, not super skinny, but I weight about 115, I am very tone, but I dont have much of a butt and I have smaller breast. I dont like ''hoop skirts'' I like sleek and sexy maybe silk form fitting dresses. What will look best on my figure. There are pics of me on my 360 profile. Thank you!

From experience I will tell you to just go and try some on. I took quizzes for my body type and all the rest to find a dress style, but once I tried them on, I hated them! I ended up with a very, very simple dress that I never would have picked in a million years based on what I thought and was told would look best on me. The associates at the bridal store can help out too. My bridemaid ended up picking out my dress and I can't imagine anything better. So...just try some on, even if you don't want to buy it right now, just for fun and see what you like. That's really the only way you'll be able to tell.

You are fortunate - you are petite and can make any dress look elegant! Well, because of your height, I would choose a sleeveless, definitely something with a sheer shine to compliment your lines, and for the bottom half of the dress, maybe a mermaid style with a small train (maybe). Check the site I attached and under dress type, put mermaid for style and strapless for sleeves - there should be an Oscar de la Renta that is kind of what I'm describing. Congrats & good luck!

Anyway, aside from the spam, try a nice A-Line. You don't normally have to have a hoop or crinoline underneath but you can if you want. Or go with a sheath dress (think roman goddess look) or there is the trusty mermaid or trumpet style dress. If you have a smaller chest then opt for a sweetheart neckline to make it look more dramatic. For the mermaid or trumpet style dress check out Jim Hjelm dresses or Melissa Sweet, they are most popular or for something a little cheaper Watters Brides.

I just read an article yesterday in a wedding magazine that said A-line or sheath dresses were best for petite women. I am 5' tall but "curvy" and I weigh exactly 113lbs. My dress is a sheath dress and it looks great on me. It's not overwhelming for my small frame. I got the halter style neckline because I have larger breast that I wanted to show off! I'm getting married in Vegas and went for a sexier look.

Check out Maggie Sottero and Pallas Athena. Those designers make a lot of sleek elegant dresses (think Grecian Goddess). I think you would look great in silk!! Congrats and good luck!

You do have a small frame but basically any dress would work for you. Tea Lengths are really in right now and considering your height, you may want to look at that as opposed to something floor length. You should schedule a few appointments with various vendors in your area (David's - though I don't like them, Alfred Angelo, etc.) and try on styles to get a feel for what would look good on you. Good luck.

A rather form fitting beautiful dress that makes you feel like a queen would be what I would choose for you. The satin dresses that are to the ground, showing off your thin body are lovely. You will be lovely, in such a dress.

from a guys point of view, i like to see you in a form fitting above the knee dress. not so much a plunging neckline but something that would accentuate your breasts, especially if your wearing a uplifting type of bra...and yes, me wife was built much like you so thats where the ideas come from!

have a nice one.

Mermaid form clothing look maximum suitable on women people who're very slender. they are extra appropriate for becoming a determine while a bride would not have lots of one. On a pear-shaped determine, it's going to make your boobs look tiny and your hips look extensive... you will look out of share. in case you prefer something to hug your hips, this is superb, yet %. one with a skirt that flares out bigger on the leg line. Mermaid-form clothing are complicated to sit down down in besides.
