My fiance has a brother who is about 14...a bit young for a groomsman, but we dont want him to be excluded. He is a bit shy to be an usher...is there an equivelent to a junior bridesmaid for boys?

I am getting married in a club at a ball park. They have vendors who walk around during game days selling margaritas out of backpacks. Would it be tacky to have one of these guys at my wedding reception?

My fiance and I are to be married in June, so we have just started on our invitations. We are very unsure of how to word the invitations. Here's the situation - My parents were divorced, but my mother recently passed away. His parents are still together. My aunt is paying for the majority of the wedding and his parents are helping out too. We would like to some how have everyones names on the invitations but are very unsure of how to word it. My aunt is from my moms side so we are worried that it will offened people on my dads side, but my dads side has no cares what-so-ever of paying or helping oay for any of the wedding stuff so should I take that into consideration or not? if it is possible I would like it to go somewhere along the lines of "so and so" ... "request your presence in the marriage of Her to Him ..." and so on ... but wording is really important-Dont want to offened anyone but we don't want to leave anyone out... please help.... any ideas?

I want a nice song for me and my fiance to dance to at our reception. I want something different (not country), something more alternative rock. Like I said I want something different. Any websites out there with lists? Or any suggestions on specific songs that aren't country?

My wedding/reception will be held in a town about 1/2 hour from where I live. Due to the fact that there will be alcohol consumed at my wedding, and that some guests are coming from out of town who are unfamiliar with this area, I was thinking about renting a bus to transport those who want, to get to and from my event.

My question is how do i let everyone know that there will be this bus? Do i send a separate note, word of mouth, add it to the invite or what?

I just want to make sure that everyone is safe to and from my wedding. Also, how would i check to see who needs the ride so i can arraange for the proper size bus or should i just go with the larger one on assumption?

Just wondering about etiquette here.

Thanks in advance!

Most women I meet don`t like getting envolved with someone who has kids. I have not been in a serious relationship for 4 yrs.

I am getting married in the Fall. October 27th to be exact, and my colors are palm beach coral (sort of an orange) and brown...to go with the fall theme. My flowers are going to be tiger lilies, the orange and brown ones, and I cannot figure out a good centerpiece decoration. I was told by a florist to take pumpkins and hollow them out, then have the flowers coming out of them. She said she did a wedding like that and it was beautiful. For some reason, I am kinda partial to the whole pumpkin idea.....any suggestions for a tasteful but inexpensive centerpiece???

My father is my best man. I think Im getting him a nice everyday watch. Men, what did you give your groomsmen? Or what would be a good gift? And please dont tell me an engraved flask. I think that one is just about played out.

it's not a first for either of us. We want no one but one witness each. We aren't telling anyone WHERE we are getting married and now some of his family members are complaining because they want to be there.
We're both in our late 30's and feel this is getting ridiculous! How should we approach this?

In asking my husband to "shush" (just as he would me in asking me to keep my voice quiter) he explodes in a rage. Telling me I'm not allowed to "shush" him (no matter how out of order he is in). He says "this is my house and you will not tell me to shush". Pretty childish I think, but he can tell me to shush simply because it is his house. If I try to use logic with him on this matter he becomes verbally abusive. I'm an Irish woman married to an american/cuban is there something I'm not getting? I feel this is like bullying. Any comments would be welcome, thank you.
