Most women I meet don`t like getting envolved with someone who has kids. I have not been in a serious relationship for 4 yrs.

I'm sure it seems like a very frustrating place to be in.......try a class, a hiking group, the grocery store, keep an eye out when attending your daughters activites, try an online dating site like Yahoo.....it has worked very well for me. I am a single mom with a teenager and a 10yr old. Posting a profile has had good results for me........but beyond that, you need to put yourself OUT there in what ever capacity is comfortable for you and keep an open mind...........good luck!

There's a group called "Parents Without Partners." Look to see if it's in your area. They hold family picnics and things for people to meet each other. If you don't have a local chapter, lookin into starting one. I'd also go where there are women and kids, and bring your kid, like the park, the story hour at the library, and the PTA. Don't forget your house of worship. Also, ask your friends to set you up, since they know you best.

im not a single mother but i meet alot of singles dads, when i drop my daughter of to daycare (the single dads are there dropping of their kids), the playground (sometimes the single dads are in there chasing around their young kids), sometimes im doing my shopping and there is single dads down there doing their shopping too, its not like there everywhere but usually they should hang out in some of the same places you hang out with your little boy, if your son does any sporting activities their may even be some hanging around there. also someone suggested the internet, that is a possibility, just be careful with that one. goodluck! and sorry to hear about your baby boys father (sounds like an ***!) its also good that your ready to get back out there. x

I know just how it is. I'm a single father with two sons. Having a social life is about impossible. Having a low income doesn't help much either. Whats a single dad to do?

well, bars are never a good place...
have you tried personal adds? seriously... that is where everyone is going for serious relationships. they don't feel like wasting their time in bars anymore!
other than that, it is all random... really...
