get away for some quiet time every morning. if you have to, leave the house a half hour earlier and just sit in the lot at work.
every man needs time to be alone with God

set some time for yourself. but also make time for your family. just let your wife know what time is set a side for your reading so her and the kids wont be bothering you go to your room or another private spot also be fair and give her a break from the kids so she can have some alone time also.

Make some time in your schedule to have "alone" or "reading" time... Oh... and... just a hint to keep things nice on the home front... Every once in awhile, use your "alone" time to fix up a warm bubble bath for your wife... She needs her "alone" time, too..

My mom use to tell us we had to be in our rooms by a certain time and then she had quiet time...she would read or do the bills or whatever.
