Hey Pittsburgh -
My fiance's family just moved back to Pittsburgh after many years away and they love it! However, they don't know much about the city anymore. We live in Japan but will be in Pittsburgh this summer to get married. We want a small simple wedding where we can have a small reception immediately afterwards. Our total party will be around 15 -20 people. Outside would be great - or someplace we could be outside and go inside if it rains... Any ideas! Thanks All!!!

(By the way - we are vegetarian liberal hippy-types - in case that info. helps inspire you! Peace!)

by itself? I mean I saw this in a magazine, and it was fine lace and handmade. But really would you get it if you could afford it? Isn't this crazy?

I got most of the parts done (ceremony, signing of wedding license) but I still need "happy" or "elegant" songs for the RECEPTION and CANDIDS during meal. Any ideas what "happy" and "elegant" songs might be? Thanks for the help!

Help, The church that my fiancé and I are members of is dreadfully ugly. I was wondering is it possible to rent a church and if so how do I go about it. I don’t want to ask my preacher because I feel it might hurt his feelings because of his unpredictable health we feel that it is best that we also have someone else marry us. Does this service come available with a church rental? please help so I can start planning and stop stressing.

Im having a lot of trouble picking bridesmaids dresses. I have 3, one is about a size 10, and 2 a 12. The problem is with the 2 size 12's. One is large breasted and self conscious about it, the other is small breasted and she too is self conscious. Both are self conscious about there waists and backsides. Any ideas how i can accomadate both of them?

We originally planned for spring but will probably have to change the date to december or january. Can I still use the theme I was going to use for the Spring time or should I change it to a winter theme? Originally was going to use white, lilac, and a pale green as colors and was using daisies in the floral. thanks for any advice

It has been a very challenging relationship,we have had our ups and downs. we have spoken about marriage before so its been in our minds. We broke up for 4 months last year because the relationship got really stressful but then he begged me to get back with him. We went on a trip to the Caribbean and he told me he was thinking of asking me to marry him for his B-day. His birthday passed and he still hasn't asked me? I have brought it up a couple of times but i feel like he is trying to avoid the subject. He is a good guy, he is very supportive and i know he loves me, but why wont he commit? what should i do?

I want a nice wedding, at a hall of some sort, with a nice dress, etc. There will be between 100 and 200 people at the wedding and reception. I will be getting married in Las Vegas. What is a good price to aim for? I haven't started looking at anything yet; I don't want to get excited and then realize that I can't afford it for awhile. I know you can't give me exact figures, but ballpark ones would help. Thanks!

I am so confused. I need some advice when It comes to men's wedding bands. I want the "white/grey" look for him but I cannot afford platinum. I have been researching other metals. Does anyone have any good advice when it comes to this. I have been looking at palladium, titanium, tungsten, white gold, sterling silver, and even stainless steel. All these choices are confusing and I need to know if anyone has any experience in this stuff. Of course I want something to last for a long time and not turn his finger an odd color. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
