Hey Pittsburgh -
My fiance's family just moved back to Pittsburgh after many years away and they love it! However, they don't know much about the city anymore. We live in Japan but will be in Pittsburgh this summer to get married. We want a small simple wedding where we can have a small reception immediately afterwards. Our total party will be around 15 -20 people. Outside would be great - or someplace we could be outside and go inside if it rains... Any ideas! Thanks All!!!

some of the smaller spaces at phipps conservatory are pretty affordable. also check out the pittsburgh glass center, the union project, pittsburgh filmmakers' galleries in north oakland, and... um... if you really ewant to get crazy try the quiet storm coffeehouse. also contact the zoo, and pittsburgh center for the arts, and there is some kind of victorian tea house on the southside now that i don't know the name of and not entirely sure of their capacity.

Morning Glory Inn - They have an awesome outdoor patio area where you can have table set up.

Sunnyledge - One of my favorite places. The food is incredible and they have an awesome open air covered veranda where you and your guests can enjoy dinner.

Atrias - If you are just having a dinner reception (no dancing) I highly reccomment this place. Awesome food, moderatly priced, and they have private dining rooms.
