My fiancee was dianosed with stage 4 cancer at the age of 30. He has beaten this horrible disease and believe me as long as he is healthy I dont care if we ever have sex again. We havent had sex in over a year- he has been clear of his cancer for 8 months- Thank God! He says that he just doenst feel like having sex. Again- I dont care as long as he is healthy. But my only problem is that I am scared that he isnt attratced to me. I took care of him thru his illness and did things that I never thought I would do in the bat of an eye- because I love him so much. Does anyone have any advice on how I should feel (not just to be thankful that he is healthy because trust me I AM!)... Thank you so much and congratulation to all the future brides and grooms of 2007!

My wedding is this April. It's being held at an 1850's antebellum/type home. The ceremony will be around 6pm-ish outside in the back yard garden and then the reception will be in the house as well as the back yard. I want to have some type of them to tie everything together but something more specific than just "garden/spring" theme. My dress is a strapless ballgown of white tulle. I'm leaning towards bridemaids (only 3) dresses in a shade of pink. Or possibly an aqua type color. I want to do something that I can incorporate into the decorations, cake, invitations, etc.... Any ideas would be so appreciated! Thanks!

Hi Everyone! I just got engaged and will be getting married about 8-10 months from now. There is so much planning and organising to do, and I want a small but special wedding.

The internet is SO VAST, and I was wondering if anyone knows any sites that help plan out everything (some kinda journal or planner, for free). Something that will help me virtually prepare a check-list and mark them off as they are arranged. Any ideas? Also, any site that helps guide a bride-to-be on where to start!!

Thank you all in advance.

Yvonne.

Is society responsible for making love marriages.
they are not allowed to live common life, and you all know what's going on. I cant understand why in this world two loving souls cant marry, and why people are always scaring them, is this not birth right of everyone to live life of their choice, and even after 10000000000000000000 years
Will love marriages ever be acceptable in india........

I only look for honest answers here. I feel as though I need some help, or at least some encouragement with the way my life is going right now. It would seem great that I moved out on my own, found the love of my life, and have plans to be married. The problem is I'm depressed. My fiancé and I live together, but no matter how hard we try we're always behind. Our bills are overdue, our rents over due, and we have a wedding plan by July! We don’t waste our money, we try hard to save. He has two jobs. And we both make just enough money to support ourselves. I just feel in a rut. I cant even afford to join the gym so I can shape up for our wedding (My weight gain doesn’t help the depression), I'm even in a credit counseling program to help pay off the credit debt I have. Can anybody Please offer some ideas, plans, words of wisdom, any help in any way PLEASE. I'm 21 and I really hope there's more to look forward to in life than all this stress and worry!

I have been engaged for 6 months, the ring I gave to my fiancee is a family heirloom, it belonged to my great grandmother. It's a nice sized diamond and it has a flower like design aroung the diamond. My Fiancee likes the ring and appreciates it's history, but doesn't feel like it's something she would wear and wants to change it. I'm very torn. Another issue I have is that money is tight, so me buying another ring is out of the question. She has the money to buy the new ring, but that seems wrong to me. I could afford to have it re-set but that also feels wrong. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I wanted to let my BM vote on their dresses (based on my choices) but my MOH just went diva on me, telling me she refused to wear a halter or strapless dress.
All 3 of my girls have the same body type, so the fact that the other 2 aren't giving me restrictions makes her behavior seem worse. She even emailed me this treat when I tried to tell her not everyone will agree on the final choice and hopefully she'll still be happy to be in my wedding.

"Well most nice brides would want their brides maids to feel comfortable at their wedding :p My cousin gave us two choices because some of us had nice cleavage and others hardly any (like me) and that worked out great. we still matched, we were all the same color. So what's so hard about that?
Crystal"

If she's doing this now (I just appointed her around Christmas) what's in store for me in the future? Should I fire her?
When I was a BM I never had a say in my dress, so I thought offering the vote was nice, but it's just drama.

OK so I have a problem. My fiance has two sisters...they both have little girls. I asked the 3year old mother if her daughter would be my flower girl. She said yes. Well about a month later the other sister the one with the 1 year old told me that I hurt her feeling for not asking her daughter to be in it. And she said she was going to get a dress made that looked like the flower girl dresses and her daughter could hand out something. ????......I was really upset about this because she invited her daughter to be in the wedding. I told her that that was fine and that her daughter could hand out something but what could I say??? but Im having second thought.. I couldnt say no when she was right there..I want to tell her sorry I only want the people in the wedding that I have chosen and I dont want your daughter to wear the same dresses as my flower girls but I dont know how to say it. But the woman invited herself to be in it....the little girl cant even walk yet.PLEASE HELP!

Ok, my sister has a new boyfriend named Tyler. And in front of my parents and sister he acts like a nice guy. But around me he acts like a complete jerk. AND HE PROPOSED TO MY SISTER AND SHE SAID YES!!!!! He hates me and I hate him. And the last thing I want is for Emilee to be living with this guy! What if he has to live with us? No! It's not that I want to talk her out of the marrage. Ok so I do but I can't , but how can I get along with him? I tried to tell my sister and parents that he's a complete horror but they don't listen and don't believe me. Help!

I am wanting to have an outside wedding, and my fiancé and i have looked at many beautiful gardens in our area, but they all are so expensive. Does anyone have an idea of any other places that might be available for an outside wedding? I was thinking maybe a park or something... but i was just wondering if there was any place i was overlooking.

My father and I have never been close. I want to walk myself down the aisle, but I was wondering if I would be looked down upon for this. I feel like since he hasn't really been there for me emotionally my entire life, I'd rather walk by myself. I would still have him give me away though.

I lost my wedding ring two years ago. I have a very strong feeling it is still in my house somewhere, but I am very frustrated. It is a 3/4 c. pear shaped diamond on a plain gold band with a simple swirled gold ring guard. Any psychics out there?

Does anyone know of a great photographer in the southern CA area available at a reasonable cost? I prefer one who specializes in wedding photojournalism, both black/white and color. Many of the ones I'm finding locally seem to shoot in a cheesy and extremely traditional, posed style. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
