Romanticism is a trait which a person possesses naturally. I don't think it can be acquired. Another very important thing to remember is that romantics might turn into staid unromantics in the presence of certain persons. Hope you don't have such an effect on your husband.

It has to be spontaneous and at the right time. Do what makes you happy it will make him romantic. Take him out for a dinner or cook something which he finds sumptuous, hug, give a peck and wear something sensuous. That might arouse him and the rest of the night is yours lady.

You can't make him do anything. When you married him you must have known already that he wasn't a romantic type. Your best hope is to discuss it with him and if your lucky, he will be receptive to change. He's the only one that can change things about himself.
