My fiance was in a wedding about a year ago and they got personalized pocket knives for a groomsman gift. He loved it and said it was the most practical thing he has gotten for being a groomsman. The other times he got personalized shot glasses and beer mugs.

I have some good ideas because My Future Husband and I have speaking about this. We are going with Money Clips. The gift is a very useful one. I also saw a thermos with a gift card to Starbucks. Also another useful gift. I have done a search on the computer a couple of times on wedding party gifts and their are many web sites. So, that is what I would do. I hope that I helped you out.

Try giftcards. You might get him one for his favorite restaurant, or one at his favorite golf course to cover some greens fees, or if he's the type, you could get him a spa card for a massage or something. With a gift card, you know exactly what you're spending and it's easy to stick to your budget - and you can focus on what your friend really likes, instead of getting an impersonal, tacky engraved keychain or a gift basket that might have been made for anyone.
Good luck!

Pocket watches, golf gifts, pen/business card case/key ring combo, multi-tool/pocket knife...all personalized. All found at www.abcustom.com for 20% off.
Gift cards to Best Buy, Amazon, and what not are also good options. Black socks are a must (or bring extras on the day of the wedding...many men forget these.)

My fiancee is doing money clips that are engraved with his groomsmens names. I also liked the idea of engraved cuff links- but my fiancee told me that noone wears them anymore- what do I know? Im just the bride, right? Seriously though, go to www.thingsremembered.com and look thru there stuff. Good Luck!

Guys like rough and tough stuff usually......maybe a ball cap with the date embroidered on the back?
How about something you know they can use like tickets to a sporting event or a subscription to something you know they will use.
I know you can order special bottles of wine with your names on it...but that would be alcohol related, and I agree that's not a great idea as a gift.
Best wishes to you for the wedding!

Visit ExclusivelyWeddings.com. There are lots of appropriate groomsmens' gifts there. A money clip, cigarette holder would work. Congrats & good luck.

Cuff Links are good (and People do wear them still. My hubby wears them everyday to work) Money Clips. We did money clips and engraved the date of our wedding instead of their names. Watch, swiss army knife. Good Luck on the upcoming wedding!
