I gs u r complaining cos ur fiancee doesn't give u much attention and has his head bet the books most of the time. Well, girl...make ur self more interesting so that he can keep his book down and pay more attention to u.....This is a genuine advice from someone who loves reading books but I'm lucky that my bf's presence is more distracting than the books I read (I'm a voracious reader but my bf is more interesting).

I like totally agree with you! I'm married and my husband spends most his time working his two jobs and reading sci-fi books. I know I am in college and what not, but whenever I'm done with my school work I always find time for him. His vacation is coming up soon and I know exactly what he'll be doing. I understand he loves to read and all, but sometimes I feel he should pay me more attention than what I've been getting. However, recently I have gotten involvedin scrapbooking and love it, so now whenever he reads his stupid books, I scrapbook and ignore him as well. Try getting into hobbies or books yourself or talk to him and let him know how you feel about him reading so much.

There is nothing wrong in reading books. If he does not give time to you then I hope there is problem. Try speaking to you partner and express your feelings. I know he will understand. If he still persists going with books just go your won way and never ever remember you ever met him. Find some one who is more interested in you.

take her to a psychologist if she reads wayyyy too much (which is unlikely since ur marrying her so she cant b insane). or jst start reading loads of books urself. read books all the time when she meets u n she'll get really annoyed n then she'll realise how annoying his habit is. hehehe it'll b fun too. best of luck, my friend! or u know something...hr reading books might b a sign of a deeper problem..mayb she is shy or feels awkward in ur presence...arranged marriage?

reading is not bad so i can not advise you on ways to get her to stop reading however if she is just flat out ignoring you or places more emphasis on books than you then there is a problem. ask yourself if you have a hobby that you spend alot of time doing that she feels takes away time with her......have you given it up/

love her the way she is.... if you change her you will not be in love with the same woman. you might not be in love with her at all.

Oh my gosh, stop him now! Send him out to the bars and strip clubs with "the guys" you know you hate so he can get sloshed and cheat on you! That would be a much better remedy than him reading and LEARNING!

Your fiance wants to be educated, perhaps you should take a leaf out of their book (pardon the pun) and start reading as well.

Be happy, reading is so much better than watching sports or playing video games all the time. It might serve you well to pick up this habit, too (reading that is).
