Only if I already had a $3,000 coat that I wore every day in winter, and a $3,000 bed that I used every night for 10 years. Why spend so much money on things you'll only use once, unless it's to help the poor embroiderers stay employed?

I really can think of lots of things that I can buy for 3 grand, but a wedding veil ain't one of them.... I really don't think that if I could afford to be so lavish, I still would not do it. You're right, this is insane. Maybe I need to ask you the name of the mag, I think I could make a purty one for about 150 bucks at the very most.. Look what a killing I would make! Woo Hoo!

I am a jutice of the piece type of person. I understand that a marriage is a comitment not a big party with bows and cake and $3000 vails. Who is going to get so close to see it. You will be wearing for a few hours. I would not pay $3000 for a dress if I was going to have a traditional wedding. So the answer is HELL NO.

I wouldn't pay $3000 for a whole wedding. Use it as a down payment on a house instead, and have the wedding in the back yard to celebrate.

If someone else was paying for it...YES!
If I had to...NO!
If I was rich, then heck yeah...cuz the dress probably cost twice that! Seriously, for people with that kind of money, it isn't that mush. The target customer for that is someone who has a wedding planner, fabulous location, total spent on the wedding over $25,ooo. For us cheap people...we make our veil from the tule sold at Michael's craft store bought with a 40% off coupon. Bling! Bling!

Realisticly, NO. It wouldn't be wise of me to spend that much on something like that...
especially when I ultimately cut it by mistake one day. HaHa..and not so funny too.....I did. I thought I was cutting up extra material I had bought to make my veil. I a was wrapping up a wedding gift. Oops.
Course I try to tell myself: My friend's mom made the once beautiful veil. Course, it was only used once.... Fortunately the material itself was quite inexpensive...it was her labor. The veil was safe during the wedding day though...thank God.

That's crazy and nonsense. There's other things that you can have for your Wedding with $3,000 alone instead of spending it all on 1 Veil that is only going to be worn and seen just ONCE!!!

Define "afford". If I was as rich as Donald Trump, I wouldn't think twice about getting it if that was what I really wanted. Technically, I can "afford" it now (i.e., have enough money in my bank account, and it wouldn't affect my ability to pay the bills etc if I bought it) - but would I buy it? Of course not.

I agree that is too expensive....But it all depends on the material and the work put into it....But yeah don't spend soo much money on a veil that you will only use once...Get something nice but much more affordable....
