I am getting married in the Fall. October 27th to be exact, and my colors are palm beach coral (sort of an orange) and brown...to go with the fall theme. My flowers are going to be tiger lilies, the orange and brown ones, and I cannot figure out a good centerpiece decoration. I was told by a florist to take pumpkins and hollow them out, then have the flowers coming out of them. She said she did a wedding like that and it was beautiful. For some reason, I am kinda partial to the whole pumpkin idea.....any suggestions for a tasteful but inexpensive centerpiece???

that pumpkin idea is nice . . .
did you eveer see those really small pumpkins?
the ones that are small enough to fit in your hand? you could take one of those take the top off (the lid when u carve it) and carve in a heart and just light it with a candle if you dont like that
then . .

I wouldn't go with pumpkin's as they will make it seem Halloweenish...and they may smell. I would go with a "Horn of Plenty" and maybe some small gourds (not hollowed out) along with your flowers, or you can buy these beautiful fall leaves in all shapes and sizes to lay on the tables, include a fall colored candle in a glass container and if you still want pumkins then put some tiny little one's around the base of the candle with a little cluster of flowers. Hope I helped. Congratulations and Best Wishes to You and your Fiance'.

I like the pumpkin idea but you could go with petite cakes instead, decorated with gold roses with small pumpkins(mini's) in the center, that way the cake would serve the guests so you could have a "dummy cake where only the middle is cut. It would save about 1/2 the cost of the traditional 3 tier plus sheet cake, and look terrific. Good Luck!

At a friend of mines wedding instead of having a bunch of center pieces she had cakes made instead of having one big wedding cake. They were all different. Only the colors were the same. And put different flowers and stuff like that on them. And it saved her money. She saved so much because she didn't buy one big cake (which can be expensive) and she didn't have to buy any center pieces. It looked very elegant.

Why don,t you consider using a mixture of little gourds place them on the tables in flat baskets with leaves of different colours.
Maybe if you know someone artsy they could make up little trees and hang coloured leaves on them also nice.
If in a hall see if they have rust coloured table runners if not they,re easy to make buy a few yards of fabric and cut them 14" wide by how ever long your table is +20".
I hope this helps a little.

regrettably for actual wholesale fees, you would be wanting a actual employer! thankfully I surely have a employer license so grew to become into in a position to purchase table decorations at a great fees. yet, a great number of the places with the extremely great fees won't permit you purchase (some won't even permit you in) with out employer license. i'm in Toronto, so telling you the place I went won't help. Sorry! you're able to desire to renowned somebody who owns a employer. in case you do searches for beads, flower arranging, man made flowers, and so on you're able to locate something. it is how i chanced on my providers. superb of success!
