My little sister is getting married next year and has found a bed and breakfast nearby that will handle invitations, printed napkins, the cake and buffet for up to 100 people. They provide location, a room for the bride to ready in and a room for the night. They provide all the chairs and do clean up.

They handle all this for just over $3000, and the location is beautiful (I have stayed there). I keep telling my sister this is an exceptional deal, anyone else have opinions?

Okay, I have been dating this guy for about two months. And I've had three very similar dreams about him.
The first one..
I dreamed it was our wedding day.

The second one...
I dreamed he asked me to marry him.

The third one...
I dreamed he told me he couldn't ever see himself living without me and proposed.

What does this mean?
I'm so lsot and confused.

I have never felt totally comfortable with them. They make me feel like I am under-excited about everything because they are always trying too hard. I think it has to do with being adopted.

My fiance absolutely does not want his parents there on his wedding day, for reasons I respect and understand. He wants us to be totally comfortable, which I agree with.

So how do I get over this feeling that I am doing something wrong?

I have a really dumb question. When we cut our wedding cake how do we hold our hands. Does the bride hold the knife and the Grooms hand goes on top of hers? or visa versa?

Okay, I have a friend that is getting married, and her parents are the sole financial contributors for the wedding. The bride and groom are recent college grads that have yet to find jobs, so they are unable to put any money towards the wedding. The bride and grooms families are all blue collar type people with no clue about designers and fomalities.

Here's the problem: The bride has insisted on the best that money has to offer, although she came from humble beginnings and her parents are struggling to make it a wonderful wedding they cannot afford all that she is asking for but feel obligated. She insists on Vera Wang china and champagne flutes, designer everything! The guests are all country folk that would not know Vera Wang from Wal-mart. Should her parents break the bank or she should come back down off of her high horse and be realistic?

i've met a man who is older than me. well, he's about my father's age. at first i haven't thought about having a relationship with him. but after i have hnown him closely i realised that he is a special person, that he knows many things and makes me feel very confortable when i'm with him.
but he told me that he wanted us to be more than friends and confessed he's in love with me.
i didn't really know how to react because i wasn't expecting to it, so i didn't answer for the moment . i'm very attached to him, maybe as a father, maybe as a friend or a lover i don't seem to realize it now.
but, anyway, this feeling is very confusing because, no matter what kind of feeling it might be, i care about him and i wouldn't like us to drift apart.
my friends say that he's too old for me and i should get out with guys of my age, because i might regret years after.
but would it be wrong to have a relationship with an older man? could this affect our friendship?
what do you think about it?

There is a girl whom i love more than anyone in the world. She was my classfellow and She was a very brilliant student. She won too many medals in academics (we were in a medical college together, becoming doctors). I told her that i love her two years ago and asked for her hand in marriage. She said she loved me too. She agreed but her parents resisted my proposal. She became so upset by her parents attitude and failed in a single postgraduate exam six times. For all this while i was with her, beside her, helping her, encouraging, loving and caring for her all this time. But just a week ago she messaged me and said that it's been me responsible for all her failures and told me that she's breaking up as our relationship was not a blessing rather is a curse as its hindering her progress in life. We broke up. I don't know why but all this while there was not a single day she didn't say "I LOVE YOU" 10 times. Do you think that in true love you blame the one you love for all your failures?

im thinking about buying a diamond for my girlfriends engagement ring online because they cost about half as much... probably .75-1 carat, i was thinking about amazon.com since it is a reputable retailer and all their diamonds are AGS graded which is the same as most jewelery stores. but im leary spending several thousand dollars on a mail order diamond i wont have seen until i get it.... does anybody have any experience purchasing from amazon or other sites? were you satisfied with quality/service? was the quality as good as what you get in a store? i asked this question once already and a bunch of people who have no experience or anything to judge whether this is a good idea all told me not to... if you dont have any experience doing this please dont answer!
