My dress goes a little below my knees about mid-calf and is champagne with an ivory lace overlay. My shoes are backless and the clear kind with just a small champagne bow. My question is #1 because the wedding is outside (at the end of this month) #2 because when its cold my legs can get splotchy, should I wear hose or no hose and what kind if yes? I really don't want to look tacky and I think it may if I do. Heres a link to the dress >>> www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=1892&prodgroup=123 The dress goes to the models ankles but I think she is short, I'm 5'10

Me and my boyfriend have been shopping for a white gold solitaire ring but I wondered if there were any discount sites where I could get more diamond for my money (well, his money) - we've got around 650 pounds to spend but I'm not up on the retailers to be trusted with a purchase this big. Please help!

... dress by next Saturday! Does anyone know how to achieve such a tremendous task in so little time with minimum stress & effort please? I am open to all suggestions here so feel free to fire any comments at me! My fiancé has already warned me and threatened me that he will not marry me next week if I cannot fit my fat and lazy slob of a derrière into this expensive wedding dress!!! I love him so much and I cannot wait to become his lawful wife but I am also terribly desperate to lose all this excess weight and I cry myself to sleep every night so... PLEASE HELP ME OUT ASAP BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE FOR ME!!!

P.S. Serious answers only please. This is not a game. This is my life.

im 25 years old and im getting married next september 2007.
i have three bridesmaids. im looking for a young, cocktail kind of dress. i love the look of a vintage style, criss cross front, wide ruched waistband, and knee length skirt, kind of like the old cocktail dresses worn in the 50's and 60's. the high gathered waist is really flattering and looks so sexy on everyone.

i have looked on watters and watters.com, and i found a couple i like. but where else can i look??? please help.

that there is a bus that will transport them from a hotel to your reception site? We are planning on hiring a bus to transport guests from a hotel to the wedding (the wedding itself is about a 1/2 hr from our city and there will be drinking). Not sure how to tell the guests (even those who arent staying in the hotel. How do we tell them or let them know- can you include that info in an invitation?

Saddest poem I've read. Don't read if you are already depressed. here it is:

I went to a party, Mom, I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink, Mom, so I drank soda instead
I really felt proud inside, Mom, the way you said I would.
I didn't drink and drive, Mom, even though the others said I should.
I know I did the right thing, Mom, I know you are always right.
Now the party is finally ending
Mom, as everyone is driving out of sight.

As I got into my car, Mom, I knew I'd get home in one piece.
Because of the way you raised me, so responsible and sweet.
I started to drive away, Mom, but as I pulled out into the road,
the other car didn't see me, Mom, and hit me like a load.
As I lay there on the pavement, Mom, I hear the policeman say,
the other guy is drunk, Mom, and now I'm the one who will pay.

I'm lying here dying, Mom.. I wish you'd get here soon.
How could this happen to me, Mom? My life just burst like a balloon.
There is blood all around me, Mom, and most of it is mine.
I hear the medic say, Mom, I'll die in a short time.
I just wanted to tell you, Mom, I swear I didn't drink.
It was the others, Mom. The others didn't think.
He was probably at the same party as I.
The only difference is, he drank and I will die.

Why do people drink, Mom? It can ruin your whole life.
I'm feeling sharp pains now. Pains just like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking, Mom, and I don't think it's fair.
I'm lying here dying and all he can do is stare.

Tell my brother not to cry, Mom. Tell Daddy to be brave.
And when I go to heaven, Mom, put "Daddy's Girl" on my grave.
Someone should have told him, Mom, not to drink and drive.
If only they had told him, Mom, I would still be alive.
My breath is getting shorter, Mom. I'm becoming very scared.
Please don't cry for me, Mom. When I needed you, you were always there.
I have one last question, Mom, before I say good bye.
I didn't drink and drive, so why am I the one to die?

I used to babysit her kids for 2-3 years until about 3 years ago when I went back to college to pursue my Master's. I have been gone 3 years and have seen her maybe 2 times in the past 3 years (my schedule is pretty busy and I can't travel back home often). While i was gone, my brother took over the babysitting duties-the first time he met her was 3 years ago after I left for college. She recently remarried and invited my brother and all the other family members however I was not invitied. A family member told me later that it was because her husband supposedly "doesn't know me very well". I think this was exceedingly rude, especially considering she has known me longer than my brother but he was invited! Am I being unreasonable? Or was this rude and uncessary not to invite me. (They have PLENTY of money and everyone knows this wasn't an issue in not inviting someone).

I work in a small office with a lot of people. I got engaged right after I started working there so I do not have anybody from my currnet job on the wedding guest list. However, is there some sort of etiquette that says I need to invite my boss? And if that's the case where do I draw the line, is it just my immediate supervisor, or do I also invite the head of the office?
