Ok, i personally would want to be comfy and glamorous so skip the hose....and opt for some white cute ballet flats for the reception. No one will notice and your tootsies will thank you. Also to prevent the deodorant stains try the dove clear solid in unscented...it really leaves skin an presentable looking while keeping you dry and it really doesn't leave marks....I have worn it with black sweaters!

- you can wear hose if you want but don't have to. Some women find shoes more comfortable with hose on. Go with sheer - so if someone does see them, it doesn't look like you are trying to match your dress:( That's kind of school girlish.
- put deorderant on after - or better yet, pick a deoderant that goes on clear, there are many out there that won't leave any marks or color:)

Wearing hose is a personal choice...if you feel more comfortable wearing them, go for it...if not, then you don't have to. If there is a lot of tulle under your dress, though, it might itch after a while and you might be more comfortable with something on. As for shoes, if your dress really does go down to floor and no one will see your feet then wear sneakers or flip flops...you'll be so much more comfortable, and you'll save a ton on shoes. As for deodorant stains, your dress should be fine. Just make sure you use a clear deodorant, not something white...when putting on your dress either step into it and pull up or have your bridesmaids put in on you, over-the-head style. Just put your arms up, like a kid would do, and have them place it on you...it is much easier than doing it yourself.

Wear white cause, when time comes for your husband to take off your garter from your leg he has to pull your dress up. Which he then tosses to all the single men to see who marries next. And as for deodorant wear a clear one or a powder scent any brand you like. I wore white hose and a powder scent deodorant when I got married. Oh don't forget the garter on your left leg. Wedding night hint wear a garter belt and stockings and a bustier.Hope this helps. Lots of luck and blessings.

Wear those thigh-high hose that stay up themselves, not with a garter belt. Much easier to go to the bathroom instead of juggling a dress, slip, garters, pulling down hose. (Heck, go with crotchless undies if you want!)
As for deodorant, several companies have clear deodorants now. Just use one of those. And put everything you may need in a pretty gift-type bag (nail polish for runs, the deodorant, a makeup bag, needle and thread, etc...) and give it to your personal attendant for emergencies.
Have fun!

i think that you should at least wear very sheer hose, the very least you will have to pick up your dress to go down stairs or what ever the case may be, so you want to be prepared. no one wants to see the bride on her very important day with bare legs, to me, that would be tacky. and if you wear white hose, then you will look like a ghost with your white dress and white hose, lol!

i wore no pantyhose. i had a slight tan so it worked out fine. as for the deoderant stains...take a shower and scrub the pit area well(sorry sounds gross). wait to put the deoderant on until after the dress is on. don't use a white deoderant, since they can clump up in your armpit and leave little white marks.

As far as hose if no one can see your legs, then do what you're most comfortable in. If you can't put deodorant on after your drees, the dove ultimate clear really does go on clear, no matter how much you smear on.
