I live in Chicago,IL and my fiance and I aare getting married on the 27th. Will our local courthouse perform the ceremony?

My sister is a J.P. in Texas, she can perform a marriage anywhere in the state of Texas. Yes the courthouse there should have a J.P. and she or he can perform the ceremony there or any where you want. Hope this helps lots of luck.

Justice of the Peace will... thats in the courthouse, they usually charge between 50 and 150 bucks

They will if they know about it. I know my hubby and I had to make an appointment with the courthouse in MD to get it done

Absolutely...there are some forms that you and your fiance will have to fill out and then you'll be set.
