I don't see why not, it's not like they have to be used for Christmas. I actaully have a snowflake ornament hanging in my car all year round. I would try to make sure that they tie into the wedding's theme or at least have soemthing explaining the reason of a snowflake. If there isn't one, make one up :) Snowflakes are unique and almost magical so it shouldn't be hard to tie in. My friend gave me mine with a note saying it's something as unique as I am. Maybe you could have something like fancy business card with them that say "A unique gift to you to help perserve the magic of our love". In my mind I see white cards, silver or ice blue cursive writing. Of course the thought and colors would change on the wedding. Anyways if you want them just be creative and it'll work out fine!

they sound very pretty...why are you going with a snowflake ornament? does it go alone with your theme? or do you just like the ornaments?

and where you live is it cold in march still? or is it warm and starting to look like spring?

if it is still cold then i would say go for it. it is still a wintery time and you obviously must really love them. :)

if it is spring like and you are getting married outside then no, i don't think it would really go.

it is your day though so do what you want! i bet they are beautiful!

congrats on your upcoming wedding! SD

You can have anything as gifts...but with the wedding being in March, why not a spring-time ornament? Maybe some sort of flower or bird?

I think that's a cool idea. I wanted to be wed in Feb but had to push the wedding back a month to March. My wedding dress was velvet trimmed in faux fur. The weather cooperated and was still wintery by mid-March. You should be just fine.

If it goes with your theme, then I think it would be a great gift. I don't think that the season really matters. You just want to make sure that it goes with the theme. For example, you wouldn't want snow flake wedding favors at a Caribbean themed wedding.

How unique--I love the idea. Every year people will pull the ornament out and be reminded of your beautiful wedding. I think it is fantastic.

Maybe...but there are many to choose from , check out the wedding favors on http://theweddingfavorcompany.com . My daughter found great silver and candle favors for her table from them. She had a lot of compliments and her tables were beautiful.

they would be beautiful..... especially if you had the party store / bridal supply store have ribbon of your color choice custom printed (with both your names or just married) on them. (I have seen this done on ribbon) Then loop a piece of the ribbon around the part of the snow flake so it can hang in the wiindow or on a Christmas tree...
This is a beautiful idea for favors..... especially if there is snow on the ground at the time of your wedding.

no I don't think so, just because of the timing. but then again it's your wedding and you can do whatever you want!
but I really wouldn't want an ornament to put on my tree celebrating your wedding... just my thoughts!
