im thinking about buying a diamond for my girlfriends engagement ring online because they cost about half as much... probably .75-1 carat, i was thinking about amazon.com since it is a reputable retailer and all their diamonds are AGS graded which is the same as most jewelery stores. but im leary spending several thousand dollars on a mail order diamond i wont have seen until i get it.... does anybody have any experience purchasing from amazon or other sites? were you satisfied with quality/service? was the quality as good as what you get in a store? i asked this question once already and a bunch of people who have no experience or anything to judge whether this is a good idea all told me not to... if you dont have any experience doing this please dont answer!

I would have to say no to amazon...you really have to find a store which specializes in diamonds and jewelry, like bluenile.com...I have never heard any complaints from anyone who bought from bluenile and their customer service is exceptional...good luck.

Excuse me, jewelers fee upwards of one hundred to 2 hundred% and greater yet once you elect one that has a very good longstanding recognition you would be lots greater helpful off that having an on line nightmare. Diamonds at the instant are not properly well worth the investment and you'd be complicated pressed to get the money you place into the diamond back in case you ever prefer to sell it. you may get a astonishing man made diamond set in 14K gold for about $2 hundred to $4 hundred. keep your funds. Diamonds are a rip off and surely they are quickly to be previous because of the fact they are in a position to now make actually diamonds interior the lab. organic diamonds are so not fairly much as good because of the fact those they make interior the labs; they'll quickly be out of date. possibly provide your woman chum a ruby, sapphire or another organic stone that's unlikely to be synthesized.
