I defenitely will!!! Let me tell you about me, I got married about 8 months ago but I dated my him for about 4 years he is also the only son, and I respect his mother but once i moved in with him when we got married my life turned into a living hell all because of his mother, she seemed the nicest person on earth but she hurt me really deep with all the mean words she told me, she lives with us since she has no place to go, but she wants to rule in the house she decides what to buy for grocery for the home etc.. she washes his clothes makes his lunch for work and I mean hes 29 years old and im only 20. Please make sure your parents dont interfere with you 2, respect them but dont let them rule your marriage, if you really love your fiance don't make her go thru something like i did.
Best of luck I will pray for you and congratulations!!!!

I know you love yoUr parents very much and they might mean everything to you. I know when i was getting married i wanted my fiance to get along with my dad because dads always protect their daughters. I would hold off on the wedding until she can respect ur parents. If your parents mean alot to you that's what i would do. You want your fiance to get along with the family, so when you do have family get together every one gets along and there will be no problems.

Express delivery of blessings for you!!! Don't worry. And if your fiance doesn't respect them, dump him. Remember - you've known him for just a short while, but your parents have known and loved you throughout your life. And if your fiance can't do something as simple as respecting your parents...then I don't think that you're ever going to be happy with him. Tell him how important they are to you. If he assures you - then you've nothing to worry. Remember - talk with him now, to save yourself a lot of heartache later.

Dear Lord,
Please be with this young woman as she contemplates marriage. Help her fiance see her family as folks worthy of love and respect. Instill in them all a sense of newfound family.
In Christ's name,
Amen.

I hope you guys work it out if he can't respect them he might not be worth it. You shouldn't have to force him to he should just do it out of respect for you...Marriage is about compromise.

Have you talked to him about how important this is to you? Maybe you could pray about it together.
You are all in my prayers.
