Alternative "Request Line" Options:

My suggestion: Go on line and do a search of: wedding invitation wordings or personal wedding invitation wordings

Try this article at theknot.com:

You can also search on that site and they have examples of how to word the invitations based on who is hosting the wedding. (divorced parents, bride and groom hosting, just mom, etc.)

visit www.rexcraft.com and design your own invitations. They have several different versus and invitation wordings to choose from. Even if you don't use them for your invitations, you can still go online and browse what they have.

One of the set of parents normally write them, not you. What they should say is
Mr & Mrs xxxxx invite you to the wedding between their son .... and his fiancee.......
The wedding to be held at .........
On Saturday the ...... of .......
Reception to be held at .......
We look forward to your attendance
RSVP
If it is the brides parents writing it, then it will be the wedding of our daughter...... and her fiance ........
Hope this helps
