I have a really dumb question. When we cut our wedding cake how do we hold our hands. Does the bride hold the knife and the Grooms hand goes on top of hers? or visa versa?

In the photos my fiance and I have seen the brides hand is on top of the grooms so she can show off her wedding rings. The photographer will fill you in on little questions like that.

whichever you two are more comfortable with. You don't want it to be something that feels awkward or it will come to light in the photographs later. I would do it however feels more comfortable to her. Also, take in to consideration who is left handed or right handed if you differ, becasue the knife will normally be between you two. If you are left handed and she is on the right, you may want to let her do the cutting and you be there more for guidance and appearance.

It really doesn't matter...some brides are more comfortable cutting while others would rather have the groom do it. It just depends how you want to do things.

you can do it either way. My husband and I did it with my hand on bottom, b/c his hands are a lot bigger than mine, and it just looked better picture wise.
