Honestly, she used to make me wear girl outfits when I was little and i hated that....granted, I gay now but I dont do the whole drag thing (except for Jose on occasion cause he feel kinky in his warm spots) She has always made fun of my free spirited lifestyle (i.e. gay life) and hasnt been much of a sister. I want to make her suffer like she did me...Should I wear a pink wig and prostitute dress to her day of holy matrimony? LOL!!!

I'm a 21 year old female and one of my best friends is getting married. Her bridal shower is Sunday and I need to get her a gift...but I am on a tight budget. I have never been to a bridal shower before and don't really know what kind of gift to give. Any good ideas that are on the less expensive side?

So, our reception is in the same place as the ceremony. We are doing our formal pictures together after the ceremony. Should we even bother with walking out of the church together for people to toss things (flower petals, confetti, etc) or just skip it since we will be turning around and walking right back in? I dont' think we are going to have any kind of bus or anything since we aren't going anywhere and don't want to leave the guests sitting at the reception for a long time.

I'm going to take her to a beautiful dinner, so she probably expects me to propse to her. She will be waiting all night and will be disappointed at the end when I don't ask her. Then the next morning when she wakes up I'm going to tell her to come to the balcony on a beautiful sunny day and eat breakfast and then while she is probably sad I will ask her. Is this good?

i just got engaged on the 19th. we are having an engagement party at his parents house on the 3rd...

first off i hate how one cant find nice simple printable free engagement annoucment/invitation. everything always so expensive or nonexsisting!

anyway. i called up my mother the next day after i got off of work to tell her. i talked to my brother and he tells me shes away for the week!!?!?! im afraid that when i do get a hold of her to telling her shell cause a big hissy fit like she did the last time i was engaged (which was years ago) whats the best way to deal with her?

to boot i dont want her putting up a fuss because we decided to have it at his parents house which is big enough to have everyone over and not worry about paying for food or anything. its a pot luck. bring a dish type deal.

its kind of diffacult to involve the mother of the bride if the bride cant communicate with her!!

Well I was talking to this girl for three days and I asked her to marry me.. well, she said yes, and we planned for a Wedding the next week. She went out and bought some $5,000 expensive wedding dress.. and invited everyone, well the night before the "wedding" I told her that I was just kidding and didn't really want to marry her. My bro met this girl who lives in Austraila on the internet.
Has been chatting online with her for 5 years
He flew to AUS and spent 3 MO. with her
Now they are engaged.
Now my family expects me to fly over in July to see him get married. I find this to be an outragious and expensive request.
I think it is a better idea if they have 2 Ceremonies.
The big one over in AUS and then a very small one here.
I think it is cheaper for her to fly over here than expect my entire famly to fly to AUS. What do you think?
What should I do?
