You can get a small photograph album and put a picture of each person in their life like friends and family. If you can make copies of some of their old photos and make up the story of their meeting, courtship etc. It doesn't have to be a huge album. Just something short and simple. Or you could put pictures of their children, along side your husband and yourself and any kids and just say what each of them mean to you or a funny story or something you've learned from them along side a picture of each person. Or how they've brought "whatever" to your life. (Ok..its a present--be nice!) A lot depends on how much time and effort you want to put into it. Basically just center it around their life together and what they mean to you and your family. I'm happy to help you if you do go this route. Email me if you like. Best of luck....

Recently my friend created an iMemoryBook for her Grandparents on their Golden wedding. She worked with her grandpa to gather up photos of their lives, and convinced both her grandpa and grandma to go back in time and write their story of how they met and how they got engaged. Each one wrote their side of the story without seeing the others.

Then she sent out letters and emails to everyone in family (kids, grand kids, and friends) inviting them all to write a memory or send a photo for the iMemoryBook. When the book was complete they printed 8 hardbound copies of the 180 page book, with her grandparents photo on the cover, to give to the whole family.

They presented the book to her grandparents as a surprise on a cruise. It was a MASSIVE hit! Her grandparents burst into tears when they saw the book for the first time.
