I just got married last weekend and my gown is in perfect condition. Although it was beautiful and the gown of my dreams, I don't really want to keep it sitting in my closet. No one I know is the same size as I am so there's no one to give it to. Odds are it'll be out of date by the time my daughter gets married, so I'd rather just buy her a new one. How do I find someone in need of a wedding gown?

At my wedding in a few months, my fiance and I want to really wow our family and friends with an impressive dance. We learned the waltz, but we need to pick a song. Any recommendations?

My fiancee and I are having an indoor, evening wedding, and I would like to wear a black wedding dress with white accents. I was thinking of wearing this one:

I would have a white bouquet and white flowers in my hair. I'm just wondering if it would be too dark, and if I do go with black, what would my bridesmaid wear (I'm only having one bridesmaid to keep the wedding small)?

I will be looking into buying an engagement ring within the next year, and was wondering what the average price is? My girlfriend is allergic to gold, so it has to be Platinum.

Also, im sort of confused as to how it works. I know I buy the engagement ring, but do I get the diamond on the engagement ring as well as the wedding ring? Do I buy both at the same time? Or do I have her pick out the wedding ring after we're engaged? So confused! thanks for the help!

I am 40 years old and my fiance is 8 years older than I am. We plan on getting married with the next year and a half. My question is- Am I too old to have my father walk me down the aisle, and am I too old to have 5 bridesmaids? They are all friends and family and have been by me through all kinds of things. It will be his second marriage and my first. Please help!

I am a 40 yr old woman and I leave on my own, is it reallly a must for me to introduce my fiance to my father? My father travels in and out of the country and once in while stays in my apartment for a month or two, and when that happens, my fiance is hesitant to sleep over my place due to that situation.

I am nearly in my 30s but guys my age won't commit to marriage. How old does one have to be to be proposed to? I know people who tie the knot at 18 years of age. My female friends ages are between 20 - 35 but not one is married either!?

My parents have been divorced for 16 years. I do not get along with my dad's wife. Definition evil stepmother. My mom is dating. How do I only invite my parents? I don't want either one of them to bring a guest. If they do it may be a Jerry Spinger wedding. They both know how I feel about their spouse but are putting pressure on me to let their signifigant other come.

My Dad is getting remarried. Mum and Dad have been separated and living apart for nearly a decade but remained close & good friends, to the extent that they never got round to getting divorced until Dad decided he wanted to re-marry. Mum will be going to the wedding and has asked me for suggestions on what she could get them as a wedding present. Does anyone have any ideas? I have no clue on the etiquette of these things, but I think the hope of all concerned is to remain/become friends, so don't want any present that could inadvertantly be interpreted as an insult. The only idea I have come up with so far was a lamp, to symbolise the "passing of the torch" and all that. Any other ideas?
