I am asian and my fiance is white. My fiance's mom doesn't like me (cause I'm not white) and keeps comparing me to my fiance's white ex-girlfriend. She always puts me on the spot in front of people and interrogates me with questions. One time she told me that she doesn't feel comfortable that I'm dating her son and that her son needs to date "his own kind". I told my fiance what his mom told me and my fiance called his mom on the phone and they started arguing over me. He said "You can not tell me who to date. I love my fiance for what she is inside and not for the color of her skin!" and his mom was like "If you marry this woman, I'm not coming to your wedding! How dare you yell at me!" Blah Blah Blah.....
I feel like our wedding is put on hold because of this woman. If my fiance's mom doesn't come to our wedding then I know my fiance will be hurt because before he met me, him and his mom were like the best of friends. And I feel like I tore them apart or something.

OK so I’m 20 and just started to work in an office while I go to college at night. ive done loads of jobs and have done to years of college already so I would say im pretty mature not boring just able to have a conversation and not use a fart joke! So there is this other girl who started to work at the same time as me. I think she is one of the most lovely people I have ever met. She makes me laugh and vice versa we have a weird sense of humour. I think there is something there except the age difference is massive she is 26. Would there be a point in me making a move or what?

My sister is getting married in January. She has three adopted children. She’s never been married and I am sort of in charge because our parents are dead. She is 5 ft and is very busty, but not fat ( almost like Dolly Parton). She has beautiful blonde hair and fair skin. She’s chosen David’s Bridal for the dresses. Her colors are the wine and Lilac. She is using wine for the dresses. We think we’ve chosen but we like 2 for the people ( 5 people) in the wedding party.
Here are our dress ideas

If I got my Wedding Gown at David's Bridal and had it put on layaway, then decided I didn't like the dress, do you think they would let me switch it out while it's still in layaway?

I'm getting engaged in the summer and I need creative ideas about programs or shows to be in the program. I would like it to be oriental but with some American & European additions.

At my daughters wedding reception at a hotel,we plan on having open bar only during the cocktail hour. Is this common? Is it poor taste? This is what we can afford. The wedding is in the afternoon and the reception is in the evening.

Planning a wedding reception, the reception site says 60"round tables, not sure if that is 6 p/table or 8 p/table.

Please if you are reading this question just add any tip as an asnswer to this question so many newly wed people get the benefit....

My fiancee and I have a wedding planned for next July. We have the Dj, Photographer, Reception site and everything booked. I even bought my dress. The problem is...I think I may be pregnant. Any of you ladies been through this? My wedding is in 8 months which would mean right around my wedding is when the baby would be due. What do I do? I need help from women who have been in this situation or mature answers on what any of you would do in this situation.

my mother-in-law is so rude! on the day i had my baby she talked s!@$ about me to every one there. i asked every one to be quite so i could consentrate on my labor pains and they were quite all exept her. she kept her cell phone on and would not be quite when asked instead made rude remarks! and after i had the baby i was tired so i was resting and i kept hearing this annoying clicking noise that wouldnt stop, i opend my eyes and she was clicking in the babys face and swinging around like a lunatic! i told her to stop and she gave me a dirty look and kept doing it!!! and she kept trying to call my baby different names because she didnt like the ones we chose. and way before all of this she was late to our wedding by like 45 minutes! ugh! SO MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS YOUR WORST MOTHER-IN-LAW STORY?

My new sister in law and my husband's brother chose my husbands cousin over me to acompany him in the wedding party. Apparently it was a last minute since her cousin canceled and she tought that nobody else would fit in the dress for her cousin but my husbands cousin. She never talked to me about it. I didn't know that my husband will be walking the isle in the church and take pictures without me. I felt very left out. My other sister in law says that in America that's OK.For some reason, I just can't get over it.I feel very hurt as if it was set up. I can't even imagine talking ever again to my new sister in law. What do you think?

One of my best friends is getting married and I'm the maid of honor. She's going to wear a strapless dress (we both love it) but she has a medium-sized dolphin tattoo on her back and it will show quite vividly. Her in-laws are somewhat conservative. And now she's worried. I asked her to opt for a tattoo removal but she said the scar will show anyway and it will look worse. How do I help her cover the tattoo? Will basic foundation be good? Will it stain the dress? It's going to be a beach wedding, by the way. Thanks for the help :)
