I am looking at engagment rings to show my boy friend. We know when we are getting married but he hasnt got me a ring yet I wanted to show him somethings I like so he dont buy me something I hate. Anybody know any good websites with pictures of rings?

I have a huge dilemma. I am getting married in September and I have a younger sister. We are not very close and never really have been. She lives an hour and 1/2 from me. Should I ask her to be in my wedding? I told her the reasons for not asking her and she I think understands. I just feel really bad. I told her she could be my personal attendant and she told me that she doesn't want to be the one to do my dirty work. She also doesn't want to be my b****. So what should I do? Have her in it anyway even though I am going to worry constantly if she is fitting in and having a good time. She has a lot on her plate and she wouldn't be able to just come at my bidding at a drop of a dime. I think she will have a bad attitude about the whole thing, so I don't want that to spoil the day either. Help me please!!!!!

Hi there - I am getting married in 2.5 months and need to get bridesmaids dresses (2 ladies, one 9 year old, one 7 year old and one 1 year old).
This is not wedding season so the shops I was counting on have no off the peg bridal, and the xmas party dresses are flying out the shops - I can't find all the sizes that I need. I am not even trying to match them all - just keep them similar, ie all blue or all white and gold and so on.

Does any one have any tips, where can I look?

Plus I have the world's smallest budget so am going to have to find these in high street stores, not posh wedding shops.

I know it's my day and my decision (along with my fiance) but I was just looking for some advice. Our wedding is a week from today. (That means the Saturday after Thanksgiving) We aren't really expecting more than fifty people due to the holiday weekend and such. Currently the reception will have cake and punch and is more of a meet and greet. My mom and I were thinking of making a little finger food. Nothing complex. Mostly just heat and eat stuff. (Little weinies, mini quiches, veggie tray etc. - finger food you can buy at Sam's (Costco) and requires very little prep time) Do you think that's a good idea? We have plenty of time to get this done so that's not a problem...a few people more than willing to help as well....

Obviously we won't buy much and will honestly hope to run out so there are no left overs to deal with. But with such a small crowd is it even worth it or would cake and punch be enough - especially since the invite said "Cake and Punch Reception"?
