No way. I'm 26 and and married, happily, but I know 16 is WAY TOO YOUNG for that kind of commitment and responsibility. It's not all butterflies and roses, and it takes a lot of maturity. At 16 you should be having fun and enjoying NOT having responsibilities!

There would be no way my daughter would date a man that age, let alone marry. My daughter wouldn't get married at 16, regardless if her boyfriend was 16 also. A child that age needs to have the experience of still being a teenager! My question would be what is wrong with a 26 year old man that he would date a girl that age? I would think there would be something seriously wrong with him that he is unable to find a woman close to his age.

HELL NO! Any 26 year old may who is interested in a 16 year old girl - and then acts on it - is seriously sick and her parents should get her as far away from him as possible. You may think you know what you want, and what is best for you at 16, but you really don't and I'm sure she would end up regretting this decision.

First of all what they are doing may be illegal if they are having any kind of sexual contact. Those laws are made for a reason. A 16 year old in no way knows what she will want in 10 years. She needs to live out her childhood or she will definitely have problems later on.

No. I'd probably call the cops on him. 16 is too young for anyone to get married, no matter the age of their partner, but a 10 yr age differnce at that age is ridiculous.

No because she still has her whole life ahead of her. Yeah sure they may love eachother, but if they were really that serious about eachother, they would wait until she.s 18. What's 2 more years if they're really that in love? Her parents need to make sure that she stays in school and help her get her priorities straight.

First off it were my child under no circumstance would she even be ALLOWED to talk to a grown man like that. I would take him on a long drive and to cut the story short, either he will be dropped at the local PD or he would be buried in the woods...
Same goes for an older woman with one of my sons....

hell no! it is one thing to marry someone with that kind of age difference when the younger one is 36 and the older one is 46, but 16 is just too young. her boyfriend would be robbing her youth.
