I am having a hard time getting both my mother and his mother to purchase their outfits for the wedding. I AM SO FRUSTRATED! I don't know what to do. My mom is acting all picky like this is her wedding and his mom just doesn't seem interested in buying. The wedding is in 2 months and neither one has an outfit. I could cry.

I am getting married in June 2008 and we are trying to figure out what to have to eat at the wedding. We are having an outdoor's wedding at a park with waterfalls and we are wanting to have a picnic type wedding with sandwich meat of roast beef, turkey, and ham, but we are wondering what all types of other foods would go great as a "picnic"? I plan on making my wonderful potato salad but other than that, I am at a loss. Please help me, anybody that can think straight...lol

or is something else given.

when people get married, rings are worn by the bride and groom as a symbol that they're married.
Is it the same in Egypt?
or is there a different way of having weddings? other than rings?

My fiancee is Catholic and I'm pretty much Atheist. We were going to have an outdoor wedding, but his mother was completely devastated at this and we changed our minds and decided to have it in the Catholic Church. I'm regretting this now and want my wedding to have nothing to do with God, what should I do?

I just got engaged on Halloween Morning, He surprised me in the morning when we where getting ready to go to work, it was our one year anniversary and I had no clue that he got me the ring, any way later that day at work a couple of my co-workers asked me if that was the ring, I was a little puzzled I said yes why? They answered with O Didn't you want a bigger diamond? My Ring is really simple and the diamond is really small that's all he could afford for me and that's fine with me I love him so much, and he really didn't have to bye me a ring, but my question is do women want big diamonds or some thing simple and small when they get engaged?

P.S. The fact that he remembered our day was plenty for me just getting engaged is an extra wink wink lol have a great day ppl and thanks for your time peace

I am living in warmer climes at the moment - and may be attending a wedding in the uk at the end of March. What do women wear to weddings at that time of the year - bearing in mind the temperature?

I have heard of couples that look alike after they have been married for a long time. I recently came across newlyweds that looked like brother and sister at their wedding reception!! Has anyone come across couples like that? How often?

We are looking for something Romantic with all amenities and private. Where we can also spend our honeymoon. Not entirely opposed to Maine by the ocean eaither. Anyone else been to a B&B that performs weddings?

We are trying to save money on our, "what was suppose to be small wedding and reception". I have come up with the idea of letting our closest friends and family bring something to eat for the reception. We are going to have about 120 guests so I don't want to ask that anyone bring a dish to feed 100 people, just everyone bring some type of finger food for people to munch on during party time. I will also be providing some food myself, I just don't think we can swing it all. I know its my wedding but when it involves asking others to do things for you it gets a little iffy on whether or not its proper.

I'm Protestant, and my finance is Roman Catholic. We'd like to get married in a nice RC church close to our chosen reception hall. What's the best way to go about this since I understand they'd prefer to marry parishioners.

I know my FI and if he gets a couple of drinks in him, I don't think he can resist smashing cake on me. It's just his personality. I have tried talking to him about and he swear he'll never do it and then laughs about it. I was wondering if anyone has just seen the couple cut the cake and skip the whole feeding it to each other bit.

I guess its traditional to have the wedding where the bride's family is. My family really wants me to get married in Chicago.

But really. NYC is the BEST city. It is guaranteed to be more expensive than Chicago, and money IS an issue, but won't it be way more convenient for me to plan it in the same place where I live?
