my friend did and she loved it and it was way cheaper. she wanted a Vera Wang gown and they are over $1000 dollars and she found one on eBay for $500 or so and she made sure it was a couple of sizes bigger so that she could have alterations done. if you really like it buy it

It will be rather unique in some people's routines and activities; on the more common individuals use, the principles will be quite general and generic (albeit name brand products) since accepted methods are hammered out daily with the only variation being improvements and updates in the security software and security products. Really I have not come across any new approaches but the utilities improve while pretty much doing the same things. This will sound silly but it is an example I am going to use anyway (as I am no security expert). If computer viruses start floating down from entrails or rising from crop circles to find their way into our computers, that certainly would be very alien. That is not happening, at least I have not heard of it!

Do NOT buy online!
1) You don't know the quality--who says all dresses are the same?
2) If something goes wrong, it takes twice as long to get it back.
3) You haven't tried it on--how do you know what it looks like?
4) If you are willing to pay over $500 for a gown, for the love of EVERYTHING do NOT purchase it online! This is the dress of your dreams, and you can also find it in stores!

I purchased a dress from an on-line bridal store on eBay. They were located in china. It was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Don't get me wrong I love eBay shopping. I just wouldn't buy my wedding gown on line. The lady didn't make it the color I asked and the dress measurements were all wrong. The dress looked like they through it together, Just take your time and look at your local bridal salons for deals.

I definately would not... not only for the reasons already mentioned by other members but because even in real stores you can try on a million beautiful on-the-rack dresses that look hideous rags when tried on. Trust me on that one!!!
Also, in my area I had major difficulty finding places that would alter a wedding dress. Many bridal shops only work on their own dresses, and many taylors refused to even do work on wedding dresses.
I'd use the online store for reference only, and try on similar styles at your local shop.
but..if you absolutely must have that online gown make sure a place in your area will service it and remember that its easier to make a gown a size smaller, then it is to make one a size bigger.

buying online is like gambling. you don't want to gamble when it comes to your wedding. go to the store. see it in person.

My advice is...you get what you pay for..
If you admire a designer enough to want to wear their design on your special day...then be woman enough to pay the designer for her hard work , time and talent by paying her original price.
IMHO
