I am looking for different types of wedding shoes? Money is not a problem so any suggesions you have. I orginally wanted open toe shoes, but is that tacky? I am getting married in a church should I go for closed toe shoes? Please help, with ideas, suggestions or websites. Thank you!!!

Im planning a wedding for a friend and I need suggestions for inexpensive decorations. She wants to keep them to a minimum because the bulk of her budget is going to the reception where she is having an open bar. I've included links to her dress, bridesmaid dresses, and flowers [orange tiger lillies] (just to give you a hint at the "theme" and the wedding is next October) What I really need help with is table centerpieces and ceremony decorations. I like the idea of having pompador balls on the isles but not sure what flower to make them out of. Also, any ideas for favors would be appriciated too.

A friend is orchestrating an elaborate proposal to her boyfriend. I am a bit of the old fashioned type. I think that the masculine partner should do the asking. I am saying as liberally as possible to include in an LGBT situation(although not the current situation). Does it seem like an act of despiration? I think the guy will get mad, like she's stealing the glory of the proposal.

My fiance and I have merged two houses together and we really are content with what we have. However we'd really love to go on a simple honeymoon and perhaps cash donations would help out. Is it appropriate to put that on the invitation? Or should I just include an small insert stating our wishes? Help...only have until end of Nov. to figure it out.

I plan on moving out there once I am married. I would like to know if anyone has done this before and did they face any problems, such as immigration, getting a visa to work or adjusting to the lifestyle.

Are there any words of advice that you would give me. I have a dregree in psychology and education and experience with working with children with learning difficulties, would that help in any way when it comes to getting a job?

With getting married did you have to go through a interview where they ask you questions to see if you truly know your partner for immagration reasons?

thank you.

I have just bought a maggie sottero wedding dress second hand. But i cant find out what style number it is to find out if its genuine. It is a 2 piece with long train, white, with chrystals on the bodice and a full skirt. I have looked on maggie's site but cant see it. The bodice has a maggie sottero label but the skirt doesnt, the skirt has a faded style number but i cant make it out. Also is it usual for a maggie sottero wedding dress to have netting under which doesnt go all the way round, it doesnt have any at the front and i seem to have to pull the other netting round to the front. Is this normal?

Well last year I got engaged and our wedding is at the very end of this year, and my fiance is wonderful. About a month ago he got into a horrible accident which left him with one arm and physically unattractive. I am not trying to come off sounding as if all I care about is looks, but I don't look at him the same way as I used to. I don't feel that chemistry anymore? Should I call the engagement off and how should I tell him(I wouldn't want him to know the reason was because of the accident) or should I get married even if I don't love him the same way? I don't have time to wait and tell him if I want to break off the wedding or if I want to continue with the already planned wedding.

I am looking for a pretty simple wedding dress in the Portland, Maine area. I want something floor length, ivory, but can't find anything. I also don't want to spend more than $300 on it. I tried David's Bridal, and didn't like anything. I also really don't want to buy it online, I want to be able to try it on before I buy it. Please, can anyone help?!?!

My dad is getting remarried. He has only been dating the girl for 3 months and they have a ten year age diffrence. I like the girl he is marring be it just all seems to qick to me I feel like everything is changing to fast. I am about to go to college and I am verry stressed out I dont know how to handle all this. My father has asked me to be a part of the wedding I dont feel like I can do this b/c every time I talk about the wedding I start to cry. Part of the reason I get so upset is b/c I am an only child and I was adopted. She is young and this is her first marrige so I know they will have biological childern. I dont think I will mean as much to him anymore. So I have 3 questions
1. How should I be feeing (like is there anything I can do to feel better about all this)
2. Is it wrong I am worried about him havin new kid
3. What would I do n the weddin/ would it be appropriate to tell the I would rather just attend the wedding and not nessicarly be a part of the cerimony

Ok Plain and simple I found what I thought was the perfect setting for an engagement ring. I pretty much fell in love with it because it was so different and it was not something that you would see on another woman’s hand. Not saying it is a 1 of a kind because its not. Just saying that I want to give her something different. Its from whiteflash.com and it’s the U-PRONG 'CHAMPAIGNE' DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING. My problem is as follows. If I purchase the setting from them I have to get the center stone from them. Of course I also know a jewelry who would take good care of me if I purchased a ring from him. What do I do? I am so torn and do not want to spend $12,000 without some other opinions

Thanks
