Its the same in most countries except Africa where in some cultures she has to wear a nose ring or lip ring or big heavy beaded things around the neck and legs...

Canadians wear wedding rings too, usually on the left hand. I, however, wear mine on the right (old Eastern European tradiiton).

indian's wear the marriage necklace, or depending on which part of the country their from... it's the red dot.
I am not sure about anyplace else.

yeah, and hindu women in india also wear a yellow thread around their necks. Most of them wear it in gold.
