I was planning on having a winter wedding as well and the colors that I chose were Cranberry and Cream.
Anything warm (not christmas red) such as reds, browns, or purples, or deep vibrant colors work. Match it with a nice off white, cream, taupe, tan or light brown, depending on the color you want.

I am getting married in January 06 and I am going with a Pearl, my maid of honor is in forest green. I might sound old fashioned but I think the bride should be in white, cream, pearl or simular. Build the rest of the wedding around you...white goes with everything. It's your day.

I would wear a cream colored wedding dress and have my bridesmaids in a deep red color...stay away from roses for flowers though b/c you'll have to pay through the nose, since it is in the Valentine's time-frame.

Wintry colours such as ice blue would be pretty, however, do consider traditional colours as well, such as white, cream or ivory, the flowers you use could add a splash of colour.
