Sure. A lot of couples tend to do this because they want to be married, they want that title, and end up having a wedding at a church later when they've got everything completely planned out and all the money to do so.

That can be normal if you have to be married to travel or any other reason and don't have the time or the money now then do so and have your big wedding later.that seems normal to me . you may be going on a trip to a different country and want to get married there for an example.

u can do that. the legalities of mariage can be done with the justice of the peace and a wedding ceremony can be held as a religious service. If the religious aspect is not relative then most people would just aheva huge wedding reception

I have heard of that happening a number of times. I wouldn't say it is "normal" but it is not that out of the ordinary. If you prefer a church wedding first then hold out for that.

Yes. I am married to a Mexican and she and her family considered the legal stuff bullshit and only the Church as a proper wedding. Strange people.

Both of my brother's marriages were like that. I think it's okay. That way, you can be married, but save money to have a nice wedding later.

yea thats normal. A lot of people i know did this for the legal reasons. They just couldnt afford to have any type of formal wedding. I think that is fine. You want some type of gathering to demonstrate your love for one another. So yea i think it is normal
