What's the question it doesn't seem like a big dilemma my mom and step dad got married by court and there very happy together.

Are you having a Happy Days theme? Either way, congratulations on him wanting to marry you- if you dont want to get married to him at the courthouse, sit him down and talk about it. If it is just that he doesnt wnat to get married in a church- there are plenty of other places you can do it at!

Going to the JP for your marriage isn't a bad idea...it is much cheaper than a huge elaborate wedding yet you can still have a party afterwards to celebrate...don't be angry!!
