By the way, the community center is taken already. Odessa is really close to the kansas city area but we really need something in Odessa or within a few miles of there. I know Odessa is really a smaill town and I would consider it a miracle if something turns our from this. Like I said the community center is already taken, and they have a space at the mall outlet there that my fiance's mom is checking out. I would like to have more options than the mall though. Thank you!

My step-dad has been in my life since I was 5. He is a great man and I love him dearly. And I know he loves me. My biological "father" was never there for me and isn't now. I don't even call my dad "step-dad", he is just dad to me. Half the time I dont even acknowledge the fact that he is not my biological father. I'm getting married in May and we will do our father daughter dance as is tradtion. The only problem is that neither of us are overly sappy. Most songs I like talk about watching your daughter being born and things like that. Since he wasn't there for my birth I don't find the song appropriate. I would like a nice sweet country song that isn't overly sappy. Suggestions anyone??

Okay so ever since I got with my fiancee I have worked. I just quit my job at a factory where I worked 6 days a week. He worked at Subway as an assiant manager for only 5.50 an hour. I supported us. He quit his job about 3 or 4 months ago. He didn't have a job for about 2 months, so I supported him and myself. Now I have a job where i work maybe 40 hours every 2 weeks. He just started a job at a factory he works alot now. I got in a wreck and totalled my car and i wont be able to get another one until my income tax. If I had a car I would work alot more. Should I feel bad that he is now supporting us??

Why does marriage have to be defined as one man, one woman? Why can't we just say the bond of two people in love? I'm an out and proud lesbian. I've been with my partner for almost 3 years now. We want to get married but the law says we can't. We love each other as much as anybody else who wants to be married. Our three year old son already asked why were not married.

I'm planning a wedding for my friend. She has three female attendants and one male "bridesmaid". She is insistant that the male be a "bridesmaid" as he is really close to her. I have the bridesmaids in blue satin dresses. I couldn't possibly put him in a blue satin suit. I was thinking maybe a dark suit with a blue satin vest but this would match the groomsmen. My fiance and I are getting legally married at the County Clerk office in a civil ceremony this weekend, but we want to have a nice traditional wedding ceremony sometime between June-October 2007. Reason for our ceremony being so many months away is because we want to pay for everything and need have enough money saved up. I was just wondering if a church will still marry us even though we're already legally married. Can we just re-use our original marriage license? Me and my boyfriedn have been together for five years. We met in a gothic club and we liked each other stright away. I have now moved on and I'm not a goth alternative girl anymore, but just a normal girl. My boyfriedn hasn't moved on yet...he doesn't have a job as he left his job and now he is trying do launch this alternative magazine about alternative lifetime....he doesn't have much money...
