Politely excuse yourself from the table, and go and find the head waiter, or someone who looks like he's in charge. Explain the situation quietly to him, and ask him to remove the bowl while you go and wash your hands in the bathroom. When you return to your table, the bowl is gone, and you can converse quietly with the other guests while you wait for the next course.

I will put the soup aside & then tell the caterers to pick it up
*casually* and if any body ask I just will say I did not like it that much or I was saving for the main dish or something.
Will not leave it in the table cause; what if some one else see the creature leg floating arround and makes a scandal.
*** Then a copuple days later I will tell just as a funny story.

Not eat the soup. If she has a caterer, I will pull them to the side and mention it to them because it is unsanitary. I would rather mention it to the caterer instead of the bride for the caterer prepared the food and that will give them a chance to remove the soup from the serving line. If the bride's family prepared the food, I will still mention it (in privacy) to the person whose serving the food and let them make the decision to remove the soup off of the line.

I would put my spoon down and act is if I was finished with the soup. Making a big deal out of it would upset the wedding party. Under normal circumstances I would complain to the waitress and chef. I may find out who the caterer was and call them on Monday to complain.

I would not upset any member of the wedding party as they are stressed out enough. I would put my soup off to the side and not tell a living soul.

Hope you have not digested the breast of cockroach! yuk!!
Just as you should in any dining facility should something like this occur....Don't eat the soup, quietly excuse yourself to talk with the cook or caterer. I had rather be embarassed than sick from roach soup:)

Don't complain. Just pass on the soup. I wouldn't go back to that restaurant or use that caterer though. I might tell someone later (much later) if I learned they were going to use them.
