My fiancee and I have a wedding planned for next July. We have the Dj, Photographer, Reception site and everything booked. I even bought my dress. The problem is...I think I may be pregnant. Any of you ladies been through this? My wedding is in 8 months which would mean right around my wedding is when the baby would be due. What do I do? I need help from women who have been in this situation or mature answers on what any of you would do in this situation.

I would talk to your fiancee about what options you should consider. Maybe you could push the wedding date up, and be married before the baby comes. Maybe you push it back and wait until later, after the baby comes. The point is you need to decide as a couple what is best for you. If you truly want to marry this person, then you need to work as a team and talk about it with each other. Also, disregard what other people's "opinions" are. Do what works for you...and congrats if you are pregnant!

Since you have already bought your dress, you could #1. Wait until after the baby is born, or #2, move the wedding up to be in a few months. Or you can ditch your dress (sell it on ebay) and get one with an empire waste and just be VERY pregnant at the wedding. At 8 months, you could rebook or reschedule your DJ, photographer, Reception Site. Most are flexible when it comes to problems like this.

First things first.....see if you are pregnant before you panic.

Go to the doctor and make sure.
If you are, that's what you have to think of first. As long as your fiance is okay with the baby, etc. - have a simple, small family wedding as SOON as it can be arranged, even if it means a justice of the peace. Cancel the big shindig, even if you lose deposits, etc. It is more important for you to not be selfish now, to give up that "white dress dream" since you will be becoming a mom, and your baby is the most important thing for you to concentrate on. Wish you luck and do the right thing!

You have two choices...you can either move the wedding up or wait until after you have the baby to reschedule the wedding. Your vendors will understand because they go through things that like all the time. Your wedding planner should be able to negotiate with your vendors and get them to postpone your contracts until after the baby is born. That would be the most logical choice, in my opinion.

My sister foudn out she was pregnant two days after he popped the question - so they just moved up the wedding date. That is one option. The other option is to look into a maternity gown, and going forward as planned (check out http://chryscrossbridal.com for a great selection) and the third option would be to postpone the wedding.

Before doing anything - find out if you even are, lol. It could just be nerves.

If you are both truly in love nothing else should matter. Go through with your plans like I did and get married. It doesn't matter what people say or think because you and your husband to be will spend the rest of your life together and a baby in the picture will make life even sweeter. (You might have to get the dress altered to fit.) This exact thing happened to me and the three of us are very happy together; both sides of our families accept what has happened and we have their full support. Life takes its twists and turns but love conquers all.

go buy a different dress because if you are pregnant you should still get married. There is nothing wrong. Good Luck and Congratulations.

talk to the store where you got the dress from, most of them offer to change them, maybe you can pick another one, but first of all make sure that you are pregnant
