I am nearly in my 30s but guys my age won't commit to marriage. How old does one have to be to be proposed to? I know people who tie the knot at 18 years of age. My female friends ages are between 20 - 35 but not one is married either!?

Too many men today won't grow up. Our society has poisoned men's minds to think that the "ideal" guy's life is to be single as long as possible so you can watch sports, have casual sex, and party with your friends without the "burdens" of a wife and children. This is obviously a tragedy.
There ARE, however, good guys out there. I'm 23 years old and i can't WAIT to get married. I am engaged to my best friend, and we're very much looking forward to settling down on our own, relying on each other for support, and for enjoying life together. Just keep looking! And don't settle for anything less than someone who's perfect for you. If you do (this is for all ladies), guys will NEVER change because you'll be condoning what they're doing to you.
Good Luck!

i think women are a lot sluttier these days. everywhere i go i see ho's. whores and deadbeat dads have shaped the male population into guys who don't value women or commitment. why would a guy get married when he can have a different girl every night of the week?

i'll tell you. marriage is the most beautiful thing. how much more wonderful could something be than sharing your whole life with one person who is your best friend and partner in life. i think the good ones are too few and far between. i just thank god i found one of them.

In the old days, people got married because it seemed like the thing to do. Nowadays, there is so many options besides marriage that men and women don't seem as interested in it like before. Guys have ALWAYS been preoccupied with the sexual aspect of dating, and now they feel more free to simply pursue that.

women see marriage as a new beginning . men on the other hand see marriage as the end of the chase.

Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? And if the first cow won't give you any milk the next one will.

Because women aren't to be trusted, they will either cheat on you or divorce you and try to take half your money all while claiming it was the man's fault. We are getting smarter.
