what kind of bridesmaids dress?

im trying to to think of what kind of style for bridesmaids. im thinking a short below the knee length dress with some lace details and possible a sash. let me know what ideas you have in mind, thanks!

First of all, GORGEOUS dress.

Now, for the bridesmaids, I think your idea is good. I'm into dresses the ladies could wear again so they aren't spending a load of cash for a one-time outfit. Sashes are a fun way to incorporate color and they're alwas changable to make the dresses more versitile. Go for it!

As for the bridesmaids, the style of dress should be determined using your dress, your wedding style and your bridesmaid's shapes and sizes in mind. Not all dresses flatter all ladies and you want them to feel good that day as well. Take it from a bridesmaid that had to wear one of the most frightening dresses ever once! Now that I'm a bride, I'm taking my girls' tastes into consideration as well.

As a suggestion... maybe go to a local shop and try on dresses. There are lots of places online to look but you would probably do best trying a bridal boutique. There are so many different styles out there... and the antique look is very popular and flattering.

First of all, I think that is a beautiful dress. I would put your bridesmaids in a dress with a similar cut and shape. And maybe a sash of lace to carry the theme of your dress.

But obviously you have great taste, so I wouldn't worry.

It really depend on the shape weight and size of your bridesmaids.... chose a dress that flatters them as well as your gown. David's bridal has a great selection.

Your idea for the BM sounds good. I'd suggest having straps for the bridesmaids though, unless they all have very similar body styles and will look good in strapless (not many people pull it off!).
