Yes, as long as the bride is happy with it. Perhaps check with the mother of the groom, too, and see what she's wearing. It really depends on how formal the wedding is.

There's another consideration - what kind of hat would you wear ? Of course you may not be planning on wearing a hat, but a lot of people do. And to me, a trouser suit and a meringue hat don't work. Not sure what kind of hat would, really. Talk it over with the bride, and have a wonderful day !

Why, of course they might, my expensive. There are some easily staggering pants fits that are so delicate and so very stylish. the main severe element is that the mothers be delicate. How fortunate you're that the two mothers experience the comparable way. they might initiate putting a manner style for mothers of the bride and groom. a dazzling linen healthful, or certainly one of silk could make a maximum excellent hit. think of approximately how they might decorate too, with a unfashionable/classic hat, and in line with threat a hanging necklace that hangs only above their cleavage. Did I point out they might placed on a silk shirt that has an exceedingly low shrink and spaghetti straps. After some drinks, they might throw off their jacket, and dance the night away exhibiting off their stunning cleavage of their new strapless corsette or brassierre which pushes up their bosom. It feels like a smashing time.

Wear what you think is comfortable. Is what I consider to be more of an decent answer. (not trainers, if you were just thinking). lol.
Just make sure it fits in all the right places, so you feel snug like a bug in a rug.
Wearing trouser suits is very elegant, formal, and stylish. Especially worn with a hat and high heels. But I know you just want to upstage the bride right! lol only kidding.

In this modern age the mode of dress is very much an individuals choice. The trouser suit is a recognised form of ladies wear so if she wants to let her. Some of the creations that you see even at celeb's weddings leave a lot to be desired.

I dont think it is really. The mother of the bride should look special and a trouser suit can never be glam or good enough. Mother of the Bride outfit is important - dont show the bride up or look too dowdy next to her which is why a dress and jacket - which can be funky too - is so much better! Thats what i think anyways

Of course it is, my mom wore a trouser suit to my wedding 22 years ago, she had some lovely accessories to match and she looked fabulous, so relaxed and comfortable, my mom had really bad varicose veins and was so conscious of them and I insisted she wore something she felt comfortable in and to heck with what etiquette states, a trousers suit looks just as elegant as a dress does, enjoy yourself and have a great day.

Yes, of course. Wear what really suits you. if is a winter wedding, it will be warm and smart. I don't think people go so over the top now anyway, and your suit will take you anywhere else for a while to come!

Absolutely, you can get some lovely trouser suits, my mum wore one and she looked absolutely fabulous and she also gave me away. She had been looking for suits everywhere and she went into this one shop saw the trouser suit and feel in love with it. It fitted her so well and everyone said that it was gorgeous.

Absolutely not...there are females who aren't comfortable wearing floor length gowns and would rather wear a nice suit instead. That is personal choice and there is nothing wrong with it...make sure it fits the occasion though, i.e. a shimmery, evening, jacket or top for a formal affair or a nice pale color for a garden wedding.

Why not? There's nothing stating that she must wear a dress. There are a lot of really gorgeous suits out there now. Some can even be nicer than dresses.
