friend of 18yrs got engaged MAR05.She never formally asked me to be in her wedding. She did not have a date for her wedding (nor an idea of a date) , or venue. I set up appointments w/ wedding mgrs, venues, & dress stores. She canceled 2 hours before the appointments because her fiancee did NOT FEEL like going (this was MAY05). I left the whole situation alone knowing her fiancee is now in the picture & I should respect her relationship. Oct05 I was engaged we decided the same day on what date we would be married. I wrote a letter & formally asked all my bridesmaids to be in the wedding & of course made her the maid of honor. I called her the next day after his proposal to inform her. A week later I solidified the date w/ a venue & called her again to let her know the date. "She exclaimed the date is 6 days before my wedding". She said she would not be in my wedding & did not want me in hers. she did not attend my wedding & did not invite me to hers is she a friend? what did I do wrong

She is of my same age. Our religion is same but cast is different. I am in good position also. My parents know about this relation and they are agreed. Her parents didn't know and now she wants to tell her parents. I am afraid whether they will agree or not. I cannot think of losing her.

My anniversery is comming up soon, what i wanting to know is, when i got married i got a wife a very inexpensive wedding ring and band because I didn't have that much income comming in. For our anniversery im wanting to get her a more expensive ring.

Would it be best to have the new anniversery ring on her right hand? Or could i have her have the new anniversery ring on the left, make the original ring a wedding band and remove the old plain wedding band? Need some suggestions.

I got married 4 months ago, i felt i wasn't even envolved in the planning of the marrige at all, my wife now did all the planning and even picked out her own ring and my band on her own. I didn't even propose to her.

What my question is, is it possible to marry again, i really want to propose and do this on my own, pick out another ring a propose in the special way. Or am i out of luck?

Ok my boyfriend and I are both young with little money. He plans on proposing but is kind off upset because he doesn't have a lot of money to spend on the ring. It will be a long engagement so he's thinking about getting another ring to replace it later on. I think it means a lot to keep the original it has more meaning. Is that selfish? Or is there anyway to wear both? Also right now I think the marriage means more than a price of a ring...will I care years later?

My older sister (let's call her Jenny) does not get along with our younger sister (who will be with my mom, let's call herAmy) and my mom doesn't have anyone else to ride with her during the trip. Amy is riding with my mom is not able to drive but Jenny(who is the MOH) does drive but won't ride with them because she doesn't like our younger sister Amy. The wedding is 9/30/06 and they are supposed to leave from their city on 9/27). She (Jenny) does not want to co-operate, but I refuse to deal with her attitude the day of my wedding. What should I do?

My boyfriend asked me to marry him but what he offers me is just a civil wedding. I love him but i did not accepted the proposal. I prefer church wedding and also im not sure if i'm ready for that. He prefer civil because it is more practical most specially for those who doesnt have big budget for such occassion.

OK a relative was my maid of honer at my wedding and it was the worst experience. She did not help in any way at all and she never threw me a bachelorette party or give a toast at the wedding. All she did was walk down the isle and help her mother with the bridal shower. I spent about 500.00 on her gift and make-up. Now she is getting married. I was glad to find out that I was not asked to be in her bridal party. Her engagement party is coming up and I do not know what to give. Prior to getting the invitation my husband and i gave her and her fiance a card with 100.00. Do we even give her another gift or what is appropriate? And yes I am still harboring the bad vibes tords her about my wedding however I understand I need to get over it. But I think yall should understand the situation fully. Thanks!!!!

I am getting married shortly. For my wedding favor I will be using either tins or the tulle bags. I didn't want to fill them with almonds, etc. I was looking for other ideas. I've been researching online...but have found nothing. Help!

I don't understand it. Looks like that would only anger any ex-boyfriends she had and provoke them to show up at the wedding with a semi-automatic assault rifle.

I am 23 years old and have been engaged for over 2 years. I just recently gave my fiancée an ultimatum. I told him that he better marry me soon or I'm gone. I'm starting to feel like he doesn't really care if we are married or not (he's been married before). I don't want to be engaged for ten years and I don't want to be getting married when I'm in my 30's either. Was I wrong for this? I'm so torn on this one! Please help!!

Ok, I'm working on a budget. I already found someone related to make my dress and cake. But, I'm not sure how much actually weddings cost. My sister & mom both got married in Vegas. I want a small wedding at a church. I live in the Inland Empire of California. I don't want to spend thousands of dollars if I don't have to. So, do you think its possible? Or is it probably going to cost more? I was thinking of using my own digital camera for pictures and not having it professially catered. So, what exactlly would we be paying for and do you think I'll probably spend more than $1000. Well, not me, but us. PLEASE NO NEGATIVE ANSWERS!!
