We're having a wedding in Jamaica in August 2007. Last week we sent out engagement announcements with a letter saying that we're doing a destination wedding and there is a choice between 3 nights and 7 nights. We asked that they let us know whether they THINK they'd like to go. I was going to send out save the date magnets and a letter with all of the travel info as soon as I have it (next few weeks)...then actual invitations closer to the wedding. Now that seems pointless to me...should I skip the save the date magnets (even though I love them!) and just send invitations with the travel info in a couple of weeks? Something with all info has to be sent soon, because anyone going needs to book and pay a deposit. I don't know what order or timeline to do all of this in...help!

Any ideas - don't want to buy off the list nothing too exciting on there (plus not a very big list so not a lot left)... They been together a while not like they are setting up a new home but don't know them too well - something funny, funky or just different... budget under £100.00

I have been to a number of non-Jewish weddings and it seems that all of them have buffet-style food. For example, you are not served the food, rather you have to go pick it up from a buffet style line. Is this a tradition at non Jewish weddings or is this simply done because of cost (being cheaper).

www.willowtreelane.com? I came across this website and they have the best prices, but i would prefer to use someone who has been recommended. If you have any other invitation website suggestions- that would be helpful too! thanks!

I would like to organize a wedding trade show geared toward the groom (Tuxedo rental places, travel agents for honeymoons, local hotels for the wedding night, D.J's, wine and beer tasting etc) would you go - or would it be better to combine one for Brides and grooms together?

I am getting married this December 10 2006. I am so excited. I am still looking for a nice gown for that special day. I want something modest and nice and affordable. I am expecting to pay $300 or less for my dress. I can go to houston. I have this dress http://www.totallymodest.com/img/A7305.jpg in mind but I don't want to buy it online. I want short sleeve gown. (white) Thank you.
