You're thinking too much about what people see when you dance with your fiancee. Not a surprise, considering the pressure of a "first dance" at your wedding. Try to relax and focus on what's important - you and he enjoying a dance together. Who cares what anyone else thinks? You don't need to be self-conscious.

If it makes you feel more comfortable, tell the DJ or band leader that you want the dance floor to yourselves for only about a minute or two. Then tell him/her to announce "the bride and groom would like to invite other couples to join them on the dance floor." Or invite couples to the dance floor individually: parents of the bride and groom, bridal party, other newly weds, couples married more than 1 year, more than 5 years, 10 years, etc.

You have dancer's block. what I can tell about this is you are really really nervous, and you need to start relaxing and enjoying the fact that you guys are getting married.
I suggest you play some music once in a while when you guys are alone and dance a little, feel the music and move to the rythm, that should let you start forgetting about how you can't dance with him.
Tell him you are trying to look for romantic first dance songs (www.theknot.com has an increible list) and get into the groove.

Don't worry so much! everything will be ok! Good luck!

I don't know if it's the same situation as me, but I feel very uncomfortable dancing with my boyfriend. But for me it's a PDA thing (public displays of affection) when I'm dacing with my male friends, I know that's it, the line is drawn and there's nothing to be thought of on my end and hopefully theirs. But when dancing with my boyfriend, I feel almost like I'm making out with him or we're having sex with our clothes on. It's very weird for me.

If that's SOOOO not where you're going with that, I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand what the issue is, maybe you're intimidated, is he a better dancer than you?

Huh? You can indeed dance with your fiance before, during and after your wedding, as well as with other guys. What are you asking here?

That's a very dumb question why don't you tell your fiance that and see how he feels.
