.i had a question about a situatuion i had with child suppport. what i am trying to find out is how do i go about asking a judge if they can garnish some of my sons fathers VA benefits? Heres the situation: in 2005 i had taken my sons father off of child support with the agreement he would pay it directly to me($100 per month) since i had a decent paying job @ the time. He was doing ok with the monthly payments w/ the exception of a few missed payments. But since he has gotten off of probation he moved to another state (Mississippi) since he has move he has not paid a dime. i no for a fact that he recieves money monthly and have been for acouple of yrs:he recievs 2,415 per month from the Va and 400 per month from the state of Md (and he doesnt even live here anymore) recently i reapplied for childsuppt. the thing is when we went to court the first time he wasnt recieving any income and the court ordered him to pay 100 monthly but now he recieves 2,800 per month- so i believe i should

I met this guy out of town, we had a great connection, talked for awhile....then we kissed. I really liked him alot. Later his friend told me that he was married. I was furious and I wanted revenge, but did not have the slightest idea of how to get in touch with his wife. So I decided to keep talking to him, I listened when he told me how horrible his marriage was and I tried to give him advice, I did not mess around with him anymore but I talked to him on the phone alot. Just as I suspected, his wife found the phone bill and is pissed at him. Now I feel guilty. I have been cheated on in the past and the fact that he tried to play me and make a cheater out of me really pissed me off, so I figured that his infidelity should be made a little more obvious. Once he was caught I stopped speaking to him. I felt so badly about kissing him, and I thought that if he was not caught with me he would just do it again....

My husband finally agreed to marriage counseling after the mother of all fights the other night. We have only been married a year, and have a nine month old baby. We have been together for 6 years total. I am 28 he is 30. We have financial stress constantly and I believe thats why we fight, we both work. He has been very cold and disrespectful lately, and before the baby gets big enough to understand this I want to put a stop to it, I love him very much. There are no infidelity issues. Anyone have a positive experience from counseling, we start next week and need to know what to expect.

My friend w/benefits & I had a sort of heart to heart talk yesterday. He told me when we first started talking he wants to be fwb & maybe build up 2 more. Yesterday I told him I don't want 2 start having feelings 4 him that aren't returned b/c I thought it was just about the sex w/him. He said that it isn't & that we don't have to do it again until I am ready b/c he doesn't have to have it 2 talk 2 me. He asked if I really thought that he didn't have feelings 4 me b/c he doesn't sleep w/just anybody. He said he wants 2 be careful right now though b/c he's got alot going on & he's not looking 4 a serious relationship. I told him that this kinda scares me (I'm recently divorced)& he said he doesn't want me 2 be scared & if I am then we can just be friends only if I want. I asked him what he wants & he said he guesses 2 just keep things the way they are 4 now(fwb). What am I supposed to make of this? He supposedly has "feelings" but why is it like this?

My husband and I have been married for only 3 months. He has had a drinking problem that he contained until after we got married. Soon after he drank and has a temper. Then one day out of the blue he told me he was bored and moved out. A week later he says he has made the biggest mistake of his life and wants to come back. I tell him we will see how it goes. A week after that I find out that 6 months before we were married he slept with his ex, the mother of his child, who he has never had a relationship with. Then we start to sort things out after that and I find out that he has asked a girl he met in th bar to his upcoming christmas party. I love him and I want to make it work. How do I trust him ever again? Do you think he really wants to come back? What would you do if you were me?

some one gets cheated on,depressed, beat up.sad,wtf.and the solution is go to a counseler.they are not the cure-all.im sick of the word honestly.just suck things up and go on.and you willsave yourself some money.whats wrong with feeling more than happieness.feeling more than one emotion and being able to deal with it yourself, only makes you stronger.and if you cant deal with it then avoid all issues that could make you unhappy by moving to a remote island somewheres.

My wife has made it clear, not in a mean way, that she thinks my package is on the small side (she is just being honest), but I can't help wondering if she has shared that info with her girlfriends?

Do wifes share that level of detail?

Small and embarrassed!!!!

My ex and I are finalizing our divorce in jan( We have to have a trial since we can not agree on any custody arrangements). he is verbally and physically abusive and has been over the course of our relationship. (He now has a warrant out for his arrest for breaking my finger in march)

Yet when he filed for divorce he flipped the script and told everyone I was the abusive one and was crazy and that I had threatened to harm our son. (in fact he choked me when I was pregnant with our son, twice. And never helped me with him when he was born) I didn't have a lawyer at that time & no one would listen to me. He has custody of our son and uses him against me all the time. he'll be late or just not show up for my visits. He also doesn't take very good care of my son and he will neglect him. (not taking him to the doctor, bathing him, putting him in clean clothes, or changing his diaper)

I have documentation of the abuse and neglect. I also have a lawyer. Advice on how to deal w him?

Having constant rift with my husband, as he feels I do not support him when he wants to do things for his mom. Due to this we constantly have fights, I have 2 kids 10 and 7 who are unhappy about the fights. He has never been there for me mentally, physically for the last 15 years that we have been married. Every time I ask him for love he says he is tired and other times he wants it right then, I have even caught him a few times on some odd websites may be due the websites he is on he gets excited and comes only at that time. Have tried to foregt that but just unable to do that I feel really hurt when I think of all this. He is actually the earner in the family, I have just started and am not confident finacially. A few days ago it was our anniversay and he didnot spend one bit , but was busy taking care of his mom that hurt me a lot. I am confused if I should leave him or continue living for my kids sake. Any advice on what it might be mentally, financially for me and the kids

My husband and i have been separated for three months. I bought a house with him and after one year, we lost it. He was in and out of jobs very often and i had to frequently pay the bills. Stress soon turned into physical abuse and now im 23 years old living at home with mom. Now he wants me back... Its exasperating because i want a sense of belonging and i've been looking for it in all the wrong places. I dont want to go back with him though, i've moved on emotionally and sexually... But i dont have the money to file for divorce. We were only married a year. Is it too late for an annullment? Where can i find legal help for low incomes? Please help...appreciate it!

I had a baby 7 months ago. My husband and I have had it rough since we got married. We fought a lot. In september I noticed he acted weird when his phone was ringing late one night. I picked it up and he grabbed it out of my hand. Than after that he never left it in my sight. I got his phone and called the number. A female answered. I confronted him and after a week he said it was a woman he met online. He said he talks to her about our relationship because he's not happy with me. I found out she's 45 minutes away from us. He said he wouldn't call her again. Since this, he leaves his phone around and I check it frequently but there is no action on it. Do I trust him again? Do you think he cheated? I don't know what to believe anymore. But our relationship seems to be getting better even though we still don't have sex often. I have to initate it always. Now he's not so secretitive. Oh and... he said that she had a child. I said yeah so what I have a child. It was so weird.

My bf has three kids the kids mother has never taken him to court for child support because they lived together up until the last one was born. I believe the last one is 3 years old and it's been about 2 years since they broke up. Now I will say that the last child as he has told me is questionable because she cheated on him. She has also as far as I know been on welfare and has never worked a day in her life. She constantly plays games and will not allow him to see his kids. He is going to go to court to get visitation rights and is concerned with whether he'll have to pay back child support? He does take care of his kids faithfully, so its not that he isn't supporting them. I told him I didn't think they could order back child support seeing as though they lived together throughout the relationship at least. But, I've heard yes he will have to pay back child support and no he won't...So, I have know idea. For my own knowledge I'd like to know to at least tell him its a 50/50 chance.

the father of my baby, who has been with me for three years, is getting married with a woman who has been his gf for almost thirteen years. He's getting married this december. Although I've known about his gf for a long time and their plans, our relationship still went on until such time that i had his baby. Now he's reunited with her and they are planning their wedding. I just want to know, should i give him a last call to ask him if he misses me and our baby, or if he's happy (happier that when it was the three of us) or if he is truly going through with the wedding. I haven't heard from him since they were reunited. Should i be doing this for the last time, as a closure on my part? please help me!!!!

My husband of 7 1/2 years and I have a 3 year old son. Our marriage has been rocky from the very start. Things have gotten pretty unbearable and he's emotionally abusive as well as loses his temper in front of our son alot. We have talked about divorce a million times and he's tried to kick me out (which he can't do according to a lawyer I talked to) or leave and take the kid. He has said that we should go to a mediator to resolve things should we decide to get divorced. Is it better to do this, or get my own lawyer? I feel that if I get my own lawyer and serve him with divorce papers, he'll be shocked and may even react badly, but with my own attorney, I can be assured that he'll have only my best interest at heart. Should I get my own laywer or try to go to a mediator with my husband?
