It is very hard to move past something like that, the sad fact is that he had to test to see if he was missing anything, I am assuming that the grass wasnt any greener for him on the other side seeing you are both trying to move past this, You can not hold a grudge, or slap it in his face, if you love him you will have to let it go. Its going to be hard.

When you find yourself thinking about it, think of all the good things in him , the things that made you fall in love with him, in time it will pass. i wish you luck, and smile, even though it hurts.

You need to get counseling together to fix the problems you were having and forget about the cheating. If you solve the other issues that led to you going to your parents and find happiness in the relationship he will not cheat again unless he is a total jerk and then you can worry about that - and get a divorce. The issues that you were having is the sickness in the marriage but the cheating was only a sign of the sickness, not the sickness itself. Good luck to you and I hope you guys can work it out!!

Sometimes, letting go seems like the easiest thing to do. But think about this: you've invested so much of your time and energy into another person; you've made a solemn promise; and you still know there's love, even if it's hiding underneath the surface. This website will show you how to save a marriage and avoid divorce, even if you're the only one trying https://tr.im/yxS7o

It isnt easy because now the trust is gone and it will take a long time if ever for you to regain that trust. I hate talking about counseling but since you have children and you have excepted his cheating I would do whatever possible to try and get past it.

lol i love how the women blame the man and the men blame the woman.....hows this?.....you both f*cked up...you left your husband FOR AN ENTIRE SUMMER, taking his child away as well. He slept with a woman. heres the thing....guys need sex...literally, its a chemical thing. Yea, it was kind of a sleezy thing to do, but c'mon, YOU left HIM and took his f*cking kid away from him. If i were you, id call it even. U 2 shoulda quit bitching, got your acts together n worked it out, not run away for the summer and him cheat on you. The situation was handled poorly. You are both at fault. like i said, call it even and raise your kid well, maybe you 2 can come together over your kid.

One of the most common questions spouses ask when confronting a marriage crisis is this: How can I save my marriage if my partner doesn't want to help find a solution? How do I succeed I am trying to save my marriage on my own? Learn here https://tr.im/zzzGc

It is a typical enough story: one partner leaves, the other stays. One remains 'in love', the other is uncertain. Whatever it is that has caused a couple to be apart, the one person who remains bears the prospect, fear, doubt, desire, hope of saving his or her marriage' alone.

You're a very strong person if you can forgive him- just remember, if he did it once, he can do it again, nothing really may be the same. My mom was a die hard catholic and forgave my dad, then he cheated 4 more times. Amazingly she still didn't leave him, he ended up filing for divorce and it became a huge mess- I would never be able to forgive my hubby if he ever did that to me...

no magic formula.
Time....Love....Faith...
It takes total forgiveness on your part. You have to want to forgive him and trust him again. (You can never use this against him when you have fights in the future.)
Put your relationship first. Maintain a "date" night and don't let kids, friends, jobs, etc. get in the way of taking time out for each other. Doing this will allow you to feel better towards each other and heal your relationship.

First you have to want to forgive your husband....you said that you accepted that he cheated...that is not forgiving him....Then you need to seek marriage counseling together....It takes time to rebuild the trust that was broken...
