Contact her; meet her but don't indulge in sex with her without her free will & consent otherwise that will amount to Rape an offence defined under section 375 & punishable under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Behave with her in a decent manner, don’t indulge in any abusive language or undue force or injuries or hurt that may cover an offence under section 323 Punishment for voluntarily causing hurt, section 353 Punishment for assault or criminal force otherwise than on grave provocation, section 500 Punishment for defamation, section 509 Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman, under the Indian Penal Code. If you take care of all these provisions when you contact her, so be polite & courteous towards her.

I wouldnt say its a crime...it depends on who is being effected by this. Is this a cry for permission by you from others to justify calling your ex to a new girl in your life? If so...would you want her calling her ex? If not...then no...there is no reason two people who just cant be married cannot be friends after. In fact its a shame it isnt that way anyway.

There is nothing wrong with contacting her if it is not meant to be harrassing or disrespectful. ME and my ex husband are still friends, and still communicate because of our kid, and we are both in new relationships

it depends on under what circumstance u got divorce,
& u r approach how u wish to contact her & for what u wish to contact her ?
if court odered u not be seen around her then its better to take permision of court, if its important for u to see her or talk to her.
