No, actually in our relationship- when one of us is crying the other usually has to block their feelings to care for the other. I haven't ever thought about it until you brought it up though.
If my husband is having a hard time with the kids or something (they're my step kids) and he feels badly about not being there all the time and breaks down and cries- I have to put on my strong attitude and be there to listen to him. This works both ways.

Yes it does make you want to cry and you are frustrated all at the same time. You are not really crying because he is crying, you maybe crying because you dont know what to do for him and you are sad tha the is so sad.

I am sorry that I am not a lady, but some of the remarks on here are so callous.Everyone hurts, and needs encouragement sometimes.I bet the one's who left them would not know what a real man is if it fell in there lap.Personally, through experience if my significant other is not compassionate enough to understand that REAL MEN show emotions, than I will enjoy seeing her head shrink in the distance.

Yes. It definitely would. Its hard to see someone you love in pain. At the same time though, my guy and I have to be there for each other. When one is upset, the other has to to try to be strong.

I would say yes because I am a wuss, but in reality I think I'd be strong and cry in private (depending on what happened)
