I've been telling him I don't want to be with him anymore and he needs to find a new place to live, he thinks I'm kidding. I don't know any other ways to say it, I've been trying to be so nice about it. I don't want to get the law involved and he just not getting it. I need some advise.. how can you still be nice and break up with someone. I don't want to walk away knowing or thinking someone will hate me. What should I do?? Help please.

We have been married 6 years and he is still really jealous. It doesn't matter where I work at he getrs upset about the other men that work their, he always asks me about my exes and so on. He' driving me crazy. I love him so much and I know 90% of men are jealous but I just want him to lay off! My ex that I dated before him is a big factor. He brings him up all the time, and if someone brings him up in our presence he gets mad at me. Any suggestions?

I'm just wondering what everyone's take is when a couple decides to separate to 'figure things out'. Everyone has their arguments & sometimes ends up in time away from eachother.

During this time away from eachother, do you think it's okay for one to meet other people & if the 'friendship' heats up & leads to sex, do you think this is acceptable?

I guess the real question is: when you separate & you sleep with someone, is this considered cheating or not, since you were not emotionally/physically together?

My daughter is filing for divorce and her soon-to-be ex wants to have joint custody. I have had many people that have experienced joint custody say that it is a pain in the butt and delays care for the child because both parents have to have a say. Sometimes the parents do not agree but the care has to wait until they do.?!?

We're told to do our best and work on our marriages to avoid divorce, but what if you have to? When is it not ok and when is it ok? After your divorce, how did you feel? Why did you get divorced? Do you regret it?

Serious question here. I know how I feel about this, I just want others opinions. No religious comments please. I'm aware of all that. This is to help me with a situation close but not me.
Your are in your 30's. Married for 5+. Have house, good jobs, great spouse, no abuse, but you're not happy. Feel there should be something more. 3 healthy kids under 8.
Do you think this "unhappiness" is normal? Do you think you should look for what you think you are missing or do you put your energy into making a home for the kids at this time?
If you're not content, is it worth sacrificing the "family" for that?
The passion has turned to just living together -- do you separate?
Serious answers only please.

I went through a divorce last year. My husband moved out of state. I have sole legal custody and placement of our daughter. He has not visited her ONE time in the last 18 months. He doesnt call much, write, or send gifts. Should he decide to move back closer to us, could he file to receive joint legal custody and placement. I believe this falls under abandonement.

My daughter no longer knows him, and has bonded with other father figures. I am deeply afraid that all the sudden my Ex will decide he no longer wants to pay support and will move back and try to get partial custody just to save a few dollars.

I would like to go on a short holdiay with my husband and not to let anyone know about it. He was previously married and has done alot of travelling and has told me about it.
I just want the two of us to get away and leave family matters at home, leave the mobile phones at home and enjoy ourselves.
We have been to many places since we were first married only a year and half now, most of them he had already been with his ex-wife as well.
What I want to know is it selfish of me not to want to go to the same places he went with his ex-wife,as I am his new wife and and want to see something different that didn't include her as well?

My name and his ex wife's name sounds the same. (For anonymity),Say my name is Linda and the ex's name is lisa.Lisa and Linda starts with the same letter and first syllable starts the same way.So the frist time it happened,we just finished having sex.He wants me to pull the sheets up so he says,"Lisa, can u pull the sheets up?"and im like,"WHAT?!!?"and he was embarassed and schocked at the same time but was laughin hard too.I didnt like it of course.I made a big deal out of it that first time but i everntually fograve him.It has happened a few more of times now but I understand it really sounds the same(they have been divorced for a long time now maybe 6 or 7yrs now.)Last night,he was on the phone and he was referring to his ex wife but said "my wife"!So now im really pissed. This is called a FREUDIAN SLIP--a thought consciously repressed but UNconsciously released. But he hates her and i know that. But what do i do?i dont like it!Should I be mad at him? There is no excuse now right?

If a man or women is bitter acting toward their ex, even when the ex has tried to make amends with them for the children involved's sake, would you suspect it's b/c they still have feelings for the person?

I've been in a relationship for a little over 2 years and I have a 10 month old son. Every so often, the topic of marriage is brought up. His parents push the subject alot and I just don't feel the need to get married right now. I'm happy in the relationship, although there are some things that need to be worked on. I don't think it matters if we are married or not, my son is being raised in a stable environment. I just wanted to see what everyone else thought...

Last weekend their mother was rude to us (my husband and I) all weekend, the children had events that we all attended. She has always wanted to break us up, she had 2 affairs when they were married and I think she realizes what she is missing and wants him back. She doesn't want us together or happy, that has been made clear....I have not said a word to this woman in 3 years other than hello. However, last weekend I made a simple factual statement about where our jumper cables were because her car wouldn't start and the kids started telling me to shut up, that it was none of my business and they just completely lost it with me. I think it was because of the tension they feel when their mother is around us, however I told them at the time "don't talk to me that way" "I am not angry at this situation, this is no ones fault", they continued to yell at me. I know that in the past the oldest, 16 the only daughter has gone home and told lies about things that go on in our home, about

If I should either just let this go until he brings it up or bring up.

First off I want to say I love my husband more than anything. And I have trust issue, he knows this and knows I'm insecure, especially since I"m pregnant.
Anyway. The other day, out of sheer intution, plus nosyness he was on the computer on myapce and looking at this girls page, asked who she was, he was like noone some girl. Okay whatever I get stupid friend invites all the time to. Well a few days pass and he keeps going to her page. So yes and I shouldn't have done this this was wrong of me. But I felt like he was lieing so I wanted to see for myself. Well the whore lives like 15 minutes away and he was leaving comments sexual ones on her page and sending her sexual messages. So I earse her from his list and block her from contacting him.
Yesterday he wasn't on the computer at all but was on it till like 3 AM the night before, so yes I checked it again this morning (continued)
